We decided to check out Pho & Grill after hearing the owners are related to the folks behind our favorite spot, Pho 501 in East Hartford. It’s about a 40-minute drive for us, but wow, was it worth it!
The inside of the restaurant is spacious, modern and cute. We were seated right away, and the service was friendly, fast, and super helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious. The deep-fried pork spring rolls were crispy and flavorful, my #12 Pho was amazing; rich, clear broth with plenty of noodles and perfectly cooked meat. The vermicelli with spring rolls was fresh and tasty, and the beef Banh Mi hit all the right notes. I also tried a pineapple tea with clear pearls (they have tons of drink options!) and it was so refreshing.
Everyone in our group loved their food and left full and happy. Definitely worth the drive and I highly recommend Pho & Grill if you’re craving authentic, delicious Vietnamese food!

Incredible food! I loved the pork vermicelli salad so much. The pork was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were all so tasty and fresh. It comes with a spring roll/bun thing which is so good. The beef pho was also great. Very friendly owners and staff, highly recommend for anyone in particular if you’re driving from Vermont to NYC!!

First time here with my brother. So So good! The pho was super tasty — light broth, tender beef, and fresh herbs. The banh mi was good and full of flavor too. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Dined in with family. Great vermicelli bowl and Vietnamese iced coffee. Loved that they accommodated my child with a high chair, a child straw cup and even kid utensils. Very unexpected but appreciated as a mom! 5/5 stars for that!

Heading to New Haven for work, stopped here on the way – 100% worth the stop. Super friendly staff, the pho is really good, and the fresh rolls are also worth ordering. I would absolutely come back.

This place is authentic as it gets. If they have the short rib or ox tail available, get those. If not, brisket. Then everything else is also awesome.

This place wasn’t too bad. The biggest problem I had was online ordering and by the time I came to pick it up, they didn’t know I had an order, so I had to reorder in person. The wait wasn’t too bad though and the pho was decent. The soup was better than the banh mi I had, but if you want to try and make it better, no shame in ordering that double meat. The Thai Tea was good. This is a small establishment so there isn’t a huge parking lot, but a handful. The place is clean and smells like tasty broth.

All the food I’ve had was comforting and always feels like it’s home cooked. The staff are very accommodating and hospitality,m. Even if one has personal food restrictions or needs to make adjustments to their meals. Everything comes out in reasonable time. And overall, you feel like more than a customer. The owners and staff make a very inclusive environment along with the food.

This is my go to for authentic Spring Rolls & Vietnamese Pho, especially Ox Tail Pho (Pho Đuổi Bố) with extra Ox Tail. Broth is flavorful without a trace of floating fat! On your way out don’t forget a couple of homemade Sesame Balls if they haven’t been sold out. Friendly owner and staff!
