The pho was pretty sad there today. Casual local shop. I didn’t like their pho (pho filet 1 is better). But their Com Dac Biet (Rice combo) $18 was amazing during this visit. Their fried shrimp bean curd is a must!!!! Best I’ve had!

Entrance facing the street, with parking on its sides. Credit card taken for $20+ orders. We’ve been to Pho Filet 1 for years, and only visited Pho Filet 2 due to location convenience.

Our default takeout order for most Vietnamese restaurants that serve both decent soup and rice dishes —
#6. Spring Roll (Shrimp pork) $7
#16. Pho Dac Biet (Pho beef combo), XL $14. Broth was sad.
#42. Com Dac Biet (Rice combo) $18. Amazing!! Fried shrimp bean curd is a must, best ever had. It comes with a bowl of soup.
#124. Rau Ma (pennywort drink) $6. It’s not too sweet.

They also have family meals (2-8ppl) here with catfish and now. Have not tried it. They do takeout catering $85.

The staff were professional enough to deal with the demands of my parents. Thank you! Food isn’t bad. Last time, the soup was a little saltier than I preferred, that you either had to cut it with a bit of hot water, or the lime juice and sriracha, but I know some people have stronger tastes than me. This most recent visit however, the soup was just right! Plus, some places, even if you taste the soup, the moment you add the lime juice, the flavor is all gone. Not this place at all! You still taste the beef.
My mom got the Bánh Cam(煎堆/Sesame spheres). The positive is unlike other places that fry it to the point that it’s nothing but air, this place actually packs the filling in! My only complaint is the skin was thicker than I’d like, and I thought it wasn’t fresh. But my mom corrected me, and it’s because of the coconut milk they put in that affects the chewiness.
I do like how some of the bottles are easily labeled for you –also because they re-purpose some of the bottles, so it’s kinda’ necessary.
Get in while you can! This place is packed! The moment a group leaves, they wipe it down quick, and then seat the next group. It’s crazy.

Good Vietnamese restaurant. The price is reasonable compared to other pho restaurants. They are one of the few Vietnamese restaurants that offer com phan (family meal plan) for 2, 4, and 6 people. The family meal for 4 includes catfish & veggie sour soup, braised catfish in a clay pot, salt & pepper shrimp, cabbage & shrimp salad, and fried tilapia fish. There is a small parking in the rear. Service is friendly.

Very nice Vietnamese eatery. A big bowl of pho or rice with all the fixings is only about $11-13 which is very reasonable in LA. Ingredients are fresh and portions are generous. My favorite go to dish is BBQ rice with salad, shrimp, chicken and egg roll. You get the best of everything in a very filling and healthy combo.

One of thr best Vietnamese restaurants we’ve ever been to. The family meal we ordered was jusy perfect for us which consist of the sweet and sour hot pot, pork in salted caramrlized sauce and shrimp pork salad. The avocado shake was also superb. To top it off, the staff are nice and the service is very fast.

I’ve never had vegetarian bun bo hue before and the flavor was great. However, there were only a few slices of tofu and seitan!!! There should’ve been more protein for $15 with a 15% tip.

I always enjoy the food here. If you go there with a group of 3, 4, 5, or more, better order the family dinner. The portion is really big and delicious, but the price can’t be beaten.

Is a go to spot for pho! First time trying it. It was recommended by several people and I can’t say how amazing the pho was. The vegetables, the noodles, down to the shrimp was so fresh. The Boba milk tea tasted heavenly. I cannot say anything negative about this restaurant. The service was immaculate. Every server was extremely friendly, willing to help at any moment. The atmosphere was great too. The place was also extremely clean. Thank you Pho Filet 2.i wish this business nothing but success.

Pho Filet is a no-frills spot but easily one of the best pho bowls I’ve had in the San Gabriel Valley. The filet mignon option is super tender and adds a nice upgrade to the soup. The broth is rich and flavorful without being too salty. Service is fast and efficient, so it’s great for a quick lunch. Don’t skip the spring rolls—they’re fresh and packed with shrimp
