The food was amazing. My wife had the special soup with three different meats and a variety of vegetables and peppers. It was a bit bland for my taste but she enjoyed it. I had the beef stew shown here, and I am hooked! They put some jalapeño slices on the side with the bean sprouts, and after I had them in the stew for a few minutes it spiced the dish perfectly!
Kayleigh kept bringing small samplers of the different teas and when we left we took an aloe vera tea with little bubbles in it.
We enjoy trying different cuisine and this definitely was one of the local favorites.
Y’all come, ya hear?
The Special Pho is straight-up elite. You get a massive bowl of rice noodles in this rich, aromatic beef broth that’s clear, flavorful, and hits all the right notes—not too salty, not greasy, just perfect depth. Then the meats come loaded: tender eye of round steak (rare and juicy), well-done flank that melts in your mouth, fatty brisket for that extra richness, and those bouncy meatballs that make every bite pop. Fresh toppings galore—bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños, lime, onions, cilantro—plus hoisin and sriracha on the side so you can dial it in exactly how you like. Portions are HUGE; I always plan to take some home but end up finishing the whole thing because it’s that good.
At around $16.10 for the Special Pho, it’s a steal for how much quality meat and food you get—especially in this town. The staff is super friendly, quick service, place is clean and chill, and they remember regulars (extra herbs? No problem). It’s become my reliable comfort food spot—warm, satisfying, and never disappoints.
If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and order the Special Pho next time you’re hungry. You’ll thank me later—this place turns one visit into a habit. Pho Ever, keep doing what you’re doing—you’ve got me hooked for life!
(Highly recommend going hungry and loading up on the fresh herbs. 10/10 every time.)
Atmosphere: small inside, tables only. Tables can be pushed together to accommodate large groups. A little dated inside.
Location: on entrance road. This place used to be The Mustard Seed. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.
Service: extremely friendly and down to earth. Waitresses went above to make sure everyone had everything. Some things got forgotten but it was an easy fix.
Food: variety of pho, fried rice, appetizers (buns, spring rolls, egg rolls, etc), bbq noodles, Vietnamese sandwich, steamed rice and milk teas. Order the steak pho and it was good- was full after about half. Order a meat bun and it was NOT good. The consistency of the “meat” inside was similar to the texture of vienna sausage (mushy and weird) and it had sausage slices inside- just not good.
Prices: was told they had to go up. Pho ranged $12-14. Appetizers $6-9. Rice $12-15. For my pho, meat bun and drink (plus added tip due to large group) my total was $27.48
Overall, it’s okay. If I go back, I wouldn’t get the appetizers. I’d probably just get the pho and maybe try the rice. Personally feel like the pho shouldn’t cost $12 given that the majority of it is broth and veggies.
Rich flavorful broth from pho. Tried bahn mi for the first time here, it was quite nice. Hubby got the bbq noodles – pork, and said that there was the distinct smell of meat in the pork which I would not have liked. I will continue to try other foods from here.
