didn’t realized this was a chain (not local). I enjoyed Pho Duong in Herndon so why not?
I usually get the phở but dinner time is rice & pork chops! got it w an egg (which wasn’t opla enough for me) and also their lotus shrimp salad.
the rice and pork chops was good, not the best, but suffice. pork chops were a bit thinner than my liking and flavors were different, but not in a bad way. definitely enjoyed their veggies and picked carrots & daikons…just right. now – the salad was absolutely delicious. demolished it! beautiful balanced of crunch, sweet, sour spicy…didn’t even need any fish sauce! topped if off w the crispy fried onions just very well balanced.
the place was tight, very busy. seems like @ time a 1 man wrecking crew…but you come for the food! would definitely be back @ any of their locations. highly recommended!

Pho Duong in Burke is awesome! We got the spring rolls, special house pho, and the grilled pork, shredded pork, and egg quiche on rice. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The broth was tasty, the meats were tender, the place is really clean, and the staff is friendly. We highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant!

Not bad. Had the vegan pho. Compared to other vegan pho that I have had elsewhere, this one wasn’t bad. However, I would have liked to have seen more tofu in my soup, as well as more noodles. Wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad either. I did like the fact they give you a carafe of iced water so you don’t have to wait for refills on water. However, the tiny little foam cup they give you, in my opinion, seemed cheap to me. Is this a dining restaurant, or a kids picnic? Seems lazy to me, and is not environmentally responsible. The service was fast and friendly. I did get a taro bubble tea to go, and it was very good. At least half of the drink was shaved ice foam, so it meant less taro drink, but it was alright. Would I go back? Sure; but I would probably ask for extra tofu.

Local place in Burke, family owned and ran. Inside the strip mall with ample parking. Usually very busy with both dine in and carry-out, my favorite Pho is the Tai-Nam with extra noodles. Definitely hits the spot.

This is my go to favorite when I’m looking for Pho. It’s all about the broth and this one is savory and beefy. Fast and friendly in quite a low key environment at fantastic low prices. They give plenty of meat and more noodles than I can eat. I end up taking more than half the noodles out. The veggies are always fresh and I always finish the soup here…sooo savory. I’ve been to many in the area including those you might have seen on food shows and this is the best because of the savory…beefy broth.

It was a record cold day in the DMV so what warms you up better than hot pho broth? It was crowded like I have never seen it. I was worried because I thought service and quality would change. I was pleasantly surprised, still as good as ever, still as fast as ever, still as fresh as ever. In this moment I saw such diversity, east Asian, southwest Asians, Caucasian, African Americans, Hispanics, Democrats, Republicans, LGBTQ and those from a variety of faith. We all shared the moment smiling and laughing not focused about the difference in the world but how a warm bowl of pho on this cold day brought us together where we shared the experience of what Humanity should be. Thank you fellow patrons.

Didn’t know that this was in the Burke Village Center, but my friend was craving pho and found it on yelp. We came around 5:50pm and they had several parties seated and a couple tables open. Public parking lot for the shopping center available.
It seems like they are pretty popular with people trickling in and picking up take out orders.
We ordered hot tea, spring rolls, and summer rolls. My friend got 18a Pho Duong Dac Biet and I got the Com Ga Nuong (grilled chicken and rice). The chicken and rice dish was good (and comparable to others I’ve had) but I was a little disappointed with the spring rolls and the taste. I didn’t try the summer rolls but my friend seemed to enjoy it and took the leftover one home.
I feel the prices are better or comparable to others in the area and they have more of a selection than the one near my house.
The interior is pretty standard for pho places I’ve been, simple and plain–not very aesthetic.
I might come by to try the pho, since I passed on that this time around.

We order from this place frequently and up until this order your servings have seem to be reduced? However, you still charge the same price. This is what you get for a take out order. (See portion in carry out container) And yet you charge an additional fee for takeout too. It’s looks way short compared to the servings prepared in house.

Food is not too expensive and portion sizes are very large. The food came out fast and was enjoyable. The staff were very kind and the store in general felt very comforting. I recommend trying Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk!

Updating my review down to 2 stars. While the food is really good and staff are nice, the bathroom situation has just become unhealthy and unhygienic. In the past month, we have been a few times and I don’t think it’s been really cleaned at all. I continue to see the same pee puddles and stains on the floor and toilets and grime is layering up in the sinks and counters. It makes me wonder how well they clean the kitchen if they let their bathrooms get that bad. Sadly, I don’t want to go back for a while. I was too grossed out the last time.
Previous Review: We come here very frequently due to consistently good food and decent prices. The pho broth is our favorite in the area. Love that they have added banh mi to their menu– great price for a hearty sandwich.
I do wish they would do a better job with cleaning their bathrooms. There seems to be a problem with gnats/flies that they have been battling for a long time. Could use a really good deep cleaning.
