Good food, kind staff! Hard to find anything open late around here, so I’m glad for this place.

Had delicious hot Thai tea and iced milk tea while my partner enjoyed beef pho. I was pleasantly surprised to see veggie pho on the menu and will have to come back to try it.

Not sure if the ownership changed or who past negative reviews are mentioning in regard to service. We were served by a friendly and good-humored senior Vietnamese man.

the food was terrible. very microwave meal taste, with no flavor. I ordered a grilled pork bahn mi and it came with a mountain of soggy carrots. the grilled pork was flavorless. I also ordered a grilled pork rice plate and the rice was soggy like it was cooked with too much water. the pork was trash.
the service was even worse.. I ordered a second rice plate for a friend and the worker didn’t even take the order. also ordered a honeydew milk shake and again the worker argued over taking the order and gave us a milky Thai tea instead.
the atmosphere was dead. sticky uncleared tables with empty bowls waiting to be cleared. dead silence inside and not welcoming. 10/10 would not recommend.

Their spicy beef hue was SO yummy. Got good depth of flavor and huge portion. I always love their chicken salad as well. We always love coming here for a good meal

Worst Asian/Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to since I moved to the Bay Area. How does this place get 4000+ reviews on DoorDash? First, the lady took the order wrong. I clearly stated 3 items and she missed the combo rice plate. She added the combo package to the Vermicelli Beef instead. Second, the food does not taste like Vietnamese food. The Vermicelli was old and hard. The beef tasted more like Chinese beef than Vietnamese grilled beef. The Pho was the most disappointing. The broth had no flavor. They watered it down so much you barely can taste or smell any beef. Never coming back.

Don’t go here.

Ryte next door to Safeway on Monterey Ave. back in the day it use to be a very good family owned Chinese food spot. Now house by pho dong Huong. I don’t frequent the place but it is open late so comes in clutch at times.
The chicken pho is good with flavor, a little oily but not horrible. Some type of pho is usually the go to order here haven’t tried much else.
Also ordered the shrimp spring roll, with peanut sauce. They were also ok.
They are open late with consistent food and fair prices. Check em out on the late night hype!

Great neighborhood option for Vietnamese food. The noodle soups are great. Apart from regular beef noodles, they also have a bunch of other selections. Spicy bun bo hue has great soup stock and nice balance of heat. Tamarind seafood soup also good. Perfect for a cold SF weather!

Went to get pho and by the time it was time to pay this man complained about not giving him a tip with a strong attitude. He started to yell at me and my friend and even chased us to the front door and say come back and pay tip because we ate “a lot” fyi 2 phos we ate. He decided not to give a tip because the service was not the best and he didn’t deserve a tip for the way we were being treated. I’m not coming back to this place again.

We came here for a late night meal after watching our friends musical play. We ordered an assortment of Vietnamese dishes. From bahn mi, to pho, and to a vermicili bowl. We also got some xiao long bao & shrimp papaya salad.

This tomato pork chop was delicious with fried rice. Ketchupy. And my homie got the pho combo, quick! The fried rice took a lil longer. I say it’s worth it if you love ketchup. And then got the thai tea and Oreo milkshake!

I visited Phở Đồng Hương for a late-night snack after attending a concert, and I have to say, it was a bit of a disappointment. We ordered the Beef Chow Mein, and it left me with mixed feelings. The most questionable aspect was the dish itself – the beef and the noodles seemed to have two completely different flavors that didn’t complement each other at all.

On the plus side, I appreciated that this restaurant stays open late into the night, which can be convenient for those looking for a meal after an event.
