It was our first time at Pho Dao since we recently moved to the area, and it instantly became one of our favorite restaurants. My husband and I ordered the #7 along with the egg rolls, and my mother had the #3. The broth is incredible. so rich and flavorful. I also loved the chili oil so much I had to take one home! The staff is amazing, very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

My wife and I came here yesterday for the first time, and I don’t know why we didn’t come sooner! This place was fantastic! Kenneth and Tony were extremely attentive and informative about the dishes. They even brought out some fresh jackfruit for us to try!
I got the Beef and Brisket Pho and my wife got the Vegetable Pho, both were incredibly delicious! They felt like something your mother or grandmother would serve you to make you feel better! You can tell this place is family owned and they have a lot of pride in their food, as they should! They crispy eggrolls were incredible and definitely home made! We even bought some to take home for later.
Thank you Pho Dao#1, you now have two more regulars that will be coming back very soon!
PS: Don’t forget to try their homemade chili paste and sauce, they are both delicious!

Tried this restaurant for the first time. A friend recommended this pho spot. I placed my order for pick up. I ordered #5 – which is rare beef, tendon, tripe and brisket and an order of spring rolls. The portions were great size and filling. I enjoyed both the spring rolls and soup. The service was quick, and it was easy to place my order via phone call. My picture doesn’t do it justice because I put my soup in a baking dish, since I don’t have large bowls. It was delicious and I will definitely be coming back. the location is right off the freeway which was convenient for me.

Thought the staff here was great until they kicked my 16 year old daughter out for putting spices in the broth. She used a spoon from the table and touched her broth with it. However I informed my daughter that is not ok and owner came up to my daughter and said now she has to throw all the spices out. We apologized to her and was willing to pay for it however the owner didn’t want to hear anything we had to say she told my 16 year old daughter to not come back and she is no longer welcomed there. My daughter started crying and she said she was sorry. I also called the owner and apologized since I was on FaceTime when this happened however the owner told me the same thing. She hung up on me and didn’t want to hear an apology for a mistake of a 16 year old and told both us to not come back there. I’m in disbelief of this horrible customer service and never thought the owner would act this way. We have been going there for over 10 years!

Having moved from the Baltimore/DC area, great phô is a staple for our family and after moving here nearly a year ago, we have been craving really great phô.
The selections in this area aren’t very plentiful and I was relatively disappointed in the last 2 restaurants I went to.
Phô Dao was a breath of fresh air.
Like any phenomenal family-owned Asian restaurant, the effort was definitely focused in the food. The restaurant is cozy when you walk in. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is that of an old school corner restaurant with no fluff.
We ordered the phô tai chin (brisket and steak) as well as pork and shrimp spring rolls.
These are super classic dishes that can be pretty lackluster if you go somewhere that doesn’t care much.
The phô was incredibly flavorful. I was able to taste the full spice profile I expect in a good homemade, full-of-grandma’s-love dish. The fragrant spices and perfect balance of savory, sweet, and refreshing. The broth was beautifully clear and packed a hefty dose of delicious. The portion sizes of the small bowls we ordered were hefty! Enough to feed the hungriest teenager and have some left over.
The spring rolls were bright and refreshing. The peanut sauce was perfectly balanced with hints of garlic, sweetness and the nutty delight of peanuts.
My teens and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
My oldest child has to avoid gluten for medical reasons and the staff was very accommodating with my questions for ingredients and offered a lot of help with what would be safe or not for my daughter. Phô Dao is a great option for people who need to be gluten free.
Needless to say, this is our new go-to for our phô cravings.
We can’t wait to go back and try their banh mi, stir fried noodle dishes, and other Vietnamese culinary adventures.

We love this place. It’s delicious and authentic. We’ve had pho in NYC, LA, San Diego , Boston , and Arizona . Nothing comes close to this local gem. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is amazing. A must if you’re in town.

Me and my cousin decided to try PHO for the very first time. We were greeted by a woman with a strong personality my cousin asked for a substitute on the order she said no we make it that way. The second person came we were asking for a clarification on the orders he seemed annoyed and said look at the menu it’s on there. I simply stated this is crazy the customer service we’re getting our demeanor was no where mean in any way. But he took our drinks and walked away. If your in this field and a customer asks you questions like how’s the PHO or questions about the menu shouldn’t be well look at the menu completely disgusting service.

I just felt the need to warn others as well. As a customer care specialist myself, I was in disbelief that the said “owner” would treat a young girl like the way I witnessed. Going after her over a misunderstanding and demanding her to take a refund. THEN denying from ever serving them in the future is beyond me. As business owner you should expect for there to be misunderstandings and finding a middle ground. Not to mention that the girl was a person of color just like myself, it really is disappointing to see.
