I had brunch here with my friend the other day. I haven’t been here in years. The menu seems to be the same, but the food does taste a little different from what I remember.

The service was on point, and we stayed talking well past being done with our meal and the staff didn’t make us feel rushed at all.

I ordered:
#25 the Skewered Satay Beef- the meatballs are not as firm as they were in the past, they completely fall apart when you cut them in half. But they were good.
#14A House Special Satay Pho- this was so great, flavorful and really filling. I loved it.
Thai Iced Tea to-go – very tasty, exactly what I was hoping for.

Parking was easy, there are lots of spots. The vibe was casual.

My husband loves this place. He loves the pho. And we both love the smoothies. He gets the pineapple coconut and I just tried the soursop and it was so good. We actually got ours 50% sweetness and it was perfect. Not overly sweet. They use real fruit 🙂 and the older Asian guy who works there is so so nice. Super sweet and he was excited to make sure we liked our food. Very genuine and kind.

Absolutely the best I’ve tasted Better than pho ca dao and cow pho and any other places. It would be my reg spot if it wasn’t so far. The price is a lil higher but so worth it I’m telling you. I ordered #1. There’s a language barrier and I ordered more noodles and meat but only got noodles but it was still so good. The salt and pepper chicken was ok but not the typical I’m use to. I had a couple try it they liked it but it def was different. Menu is amazing so much to pick. Taro boba avg but presentation of everything is so good highly recommend. I’ll be returning def

broth was good, meat not so good. Very gummy and fat and the drinks were very watery.

By far some of the best pho I have had in San Diego. Everything about this place is amazing from the pho to the chicken wings, to the fish. Definitely a family owned gem in the middle of suburban sprawl. If you live in Eastlake, you need to eat here!

100% don’t recommend the Pho here. Maybe other dishes are great. I had the chicken pho and it was the worst I’ve had. The broth had no flavor, almost just like water, I had to add a lot of chili oil and hoisin sauce *so did my husband on the #2 plate, see pic* to make it taste like something. The chicken on the other hand was horrible, it had a really bad taste, maybe old chicken was used, so I only took one bite of it. When the waitress asked how everything was going I let her know the chicken in my plate was bad. She spoke to the manager or owner and so he walked over and said he cooks his chicken fresh every morning and told us how he used better chicken than other places, and so on. It was all nerve or fat ok. He didn’t apologize or offer something else but went on to say he can’t remove it from our tab because everything is so expensive. Same over here sir! And the customer deserves a decent dish that is edible. Won’t be coming back here.

food was mid, the moment i tasted the broth I realized it was very bland like it was mixed with water. there was barely any noodles and meat, quite simple. there wasn’t a strong smell of the pho broth just gave like a meat soup vibe. pretty quiet just some background machine noises. very nice but may be too nice. like they need to leave us alone sometimes to eat lol, but very nice. egg rolls were very delicious. overall, if u want a mid but quick service i would recommend

I ordered Bun Bo Hue, and it was delicious. There was a spice level available from 1-10. The amount of beef was a lot more than other pho restaurants I’ve been to before. However it has only slices of beef, and not a lot of beef balls or tendons. I only had 2 quarter size beef balls and 2 small pieces of tendons. It was by no means bad, since most people would like the well done steak, but there was not much in beef balls. There are only those three beef ingredients, whereas some other places offer the shank and knuckle. Personal bias, but this restaurant delivered what I wanted. Thank you.
