The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the spicy Pho, but unfortunately, it was literally drenched in chili oil, making it difficult to enjoy. When I asked the staff to change it, they were accommodating and served us normal Pho without hesitation, which was lovely.
However, I also ordered the panda waffle, which was a disappointment because of the size. At £8, it felt overpriced for such a small waffle. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I appreciate their willingness to correct the issue with the Pho, but the waffle’s value didn’t meet expectations.
Who would have thought that you could get good food in a shopping centre !
Pho ( fo )
My heart sank as we made our way through the footballers wives retail experience, and there it was, still looked like a shopping centre eatery from the outside, and warehouse inside , but we sat down and browsed through the menu….
Even the Dog had a seat ….
Avoided the resident ‘communal pickles’ on the table, you never know what has been happening with those ….
All food fresh and different
Good beer
Wish there was a ‘Little Chef’ type menu with pictures ! , as I would defy anybody to understand what they have just ordered, and what it would look like when it arrived on the table ….
Most staff attentive, others in a La La land
Would I go again…
Yes
Stuff :
Pho was founded in 2005 by a British husband-and-wife team, Stephen and Juliette Wall, after they travelled in Vietnam and fell in love with the food. They opened the first restaurant in London to share what they’d discovered.
The chain has expanded significantly — as of 2025 it’s approaching 50 restaurants across the UK in cities like London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Liverpool and more.
Healthy, flexible menu: Pho’s dishes are mostly fresh, healthy and daily-prepared — and around 98 % of the menu is gluten-free ( not by design) with about 40 % suitable for vegans.
Dog-friendly initiative
Woof…
Definitely will come back for my next B trip at Cheltenham.
