This is the best Pho spot I’ve ever been to. I ordered the small tofu and vegetable pho with veggie broth to-go. I received large portions with veggies that looked FRESH. Love the presentation. The veggie broth was tasty too.

I also recommend the tofu banh mi which was just so delicious.

Hole in the wall kind of place. The restaurant is part of an Asian store. I ordered a small Combination Pho. It seemed more like a large portion. Soup was tasty. Generous amount of meats. Not stingy on the Beansprout, lime & Basil mix. Young server kept a low profile! I was given a glass of iced water & hot tea, which surprised me. Would return if I was in the neighborhood. Good value for money.

Just got back from Vietnam and wanted to try Pho here in US because I enjoyed it so much. We heard about Capital Pho on Harrison in West Olympia. It was amazing! The best broth I have tasted so far. Highly recommend! Also, servings were extremely generous and prices very fair

Awesome pho, spring rolls, egg rolls, etc, as well as super friendly service! There’s a fantastic Asian grocery attached too for all your shopping needs!

This place is hands down, without a doubt, my FAVORITE place to eat in Olympia. I don’t eat inside much, usually take to go, but I have sat in there many times after ordering and waiting for my food.

It is a simple yet peaceful environment attached to the Capitol Market with employees who are so kind.

I have had several different dishes my favorites including: tofu yakisoba, pho Thai, crab rangoons, and fresh spring rolls.

Consistently, this food has been fantastic. Recently I noticed the portions have gotten a bit smaller, but the food quality has not changed.

I would recommend eating here to anyone.

Amazing food! So good that I came back 2 days later. Favorite spot I found in the area. Great prices for what you get. I got 2 large pho bowls (might as well get the large for $1 more). The bahn mis were so good – for the chicken and the shrimp ones. Had leftovers and still so good. Great service, too. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely excellent food!!!
The reason for only 4 stars is really because I’m a pretty harsh critic, comparing it to Seattle restaurants I’ve been to. For Olympia, it’s a 5-star.
The dish I had was delicious with spice, flavor (ginger, perhaps, which I love), satisfying nutrition. They even took the tails off the shrimp- a huge pet peeve of mine quelled (I HATE having to take the tails off)!!!
There’s calming sounds- customers speaking Asian languages, (which makes me think the place is even more legit and sounds pretty), the water fountain. A real plant is in there, making me feel even more relaxed, and enough windows, so not clausterphibic at all.
It’s decently clean, so I’m not grossed out while eating. There are some other restaurants in Oly that let the dust build really high on the building fixtures, keeping me from eating their otherwise great food- not the issue here.
I asked for hot tea and was happy to receive jasmine green- just a bit more of some happy flavor. There was no aroma of Clorox in the tea cup to ruin the flavor, as I’ve found at some restaurants.
I could just relax and enjoy the great food at a reasonable price!

Review from Take Out:

Banh Mi: rarely any meat, bread not toasted. Pics here pretty much accurate. Hard Skip

Pho: weird flavor and no balance for salt and sweetness. Hard Skip

Short Ribs: good flavor and portion w/ rice.

Stick to rice dish or skip this place entirely

Still my family’s favorite spot. Simply the best Pho in the area. Best of the other dishes too, and a great market next door to boot. Not fancy, homey. But SUPER good.
