Food was delicious. Pho broth was amazingly rich and perfect that I didn’t need to add anything to it. The bowl was a perfect size, not too big and not too small. The egg rolls were different than what we were used to but it was so good with the a nice crunch which surprised us. The server was very polite and friendly, he checked on us and refilled drinks as needed. The lady who brought out a few dishes was very kind also. We are looking forward to coming back already.

Recently moved to this side of EG and decided to skip my usual Pho Ivy and have pho Bistro a try.

I ordered B2 and a coffee. I live 5 min away and the broth was barley warm and didn’t cook the the raw meet. This is a first for me . No problem I can heat my own broth. Once I did my broth was very water down.

The coffee ☕ had great reviews but mine was extremely strong. So I added my own condensed milk and split it with my family.

No chop sticks for me either
Back to pho ivy for me

Great service. We had 8 of us and ordered a variety of different things. They forgot one of our orders, but quickly brought it out after we asked for it. The only real complaint I have is … the food. They all look great! Great portion too, BUT the taste of everything we got was just so mediocre. Pho, rice plate, sea food noodle, bun rieu, etc… everything we got tasted just OK, nothing amazing and nothing we would consider Great.

My husband and I stopped by here for a quick meal this week. We don’t normally eat it in, but the place was quiet and seating comfortable. We ordered the basic meat Pho and a vegetarian Pho, as well as a side of meatballs. We found the dishes to be quite rich and delicious. The portion sizes were generous too (I was able to take about half of mine home). The meatballs were not hot enough for my liking but the friendly staff resolved that quickly. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and we will go back if we are in that area again.

My vermicelli salad was okay. Not too amazing but the egg roll itself was delicious. It was crunchy and light with a nice filling. I look forward to coming back here to try their pho next.

Update since I realized I can’t review twice- Pho was amazing. It has a thin layer of grease on top as if the broth had been simmering all night. It’s light but savory. Good enough for me to eat without any additional sauces. Bun Bo Hue has a light broth and not spicy. I prefer one with stronger taste but this is definitely good for those who wants to try this dish but without the strong broth and spicy flavor.

Delicious food, friendly people but room for improvement on service. I would prefer at least one checking after food was served. Tried the combination pho (P2). The soup, meat, and noodles were all good. Recommended. The egg rolls were different and delicious as well. Recommended.

Checked this place out because it’s one of the Elk Grove Diversity Dining Week participating restaurants. The food was very good especially the pho. We don’t eat much beef, so we got the chicken pho, vermicelli noodles with chicken and shrimp, and the crispy egg rolls. All were very good. They give a big portion of chicken.

Love this place for my shrimp pho with egg noodles and I add pork blood. Thai tea is pretty good as well. Only reason why not 5 stars is due to that I have to get my own containers and pack my leftovers.

With the amount of pho places in Sacramento, it’s hard to find a good spot. First thing you do when the pho arrives is you try the broth. Compared to many of the pho places I’ve tried, this is one of the better ones. Lots of flavor, including a real beefy taste. The vermicelli also hit the spot.
