Really good and flavorful phở! The noodles were a little soft and stuck together, but the broth was delicious. Note that they only offer eye round, not filet.

I’m sorry. I’m easy to please and normal don’t like to talk bad about restaurants but this pho is no good. The soup taste like water with oil in it. No flavor and that’s the entire reason why I love pho . For the popping flavor. The place seems clean the egg rolls are good but to not want to order the pho at a pho restaurant. Yup I won’t be back sorry hope yall start putting flavor in the soup

Phở Binh on Westheimer is one of the best pho spots in Houston! The broth is rich and flavorful, the meat is always tender, and the portions are generous. Service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and cozy. Their beef pho is amazing, and you can even add bone marrow for extra flavor. Perfect spot for comfort food any time of the day.

Our first time dining here and it was enjoyable. The restaurant is located in a busy strip center at the corner of Westheimer and Fountain View. The parking is usually very full. We were able to park immediately in front of the restaurant with ease on a Thursday night.
The restaurant is surprisingly larger inside than expected. It was bright and light and nicely decorated. The menu has many options with pictures to reference as well. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. The service was fast and friendly and helped us navigate the menu. Our food was better than most Pho Bin places we’ve tried in the area. Fresh, hot, decent portions and great flavor. The only dish we ordered that was disappointing was the bone marrow. We understood they no longer serve it in the bone. That said it doesn’t look at all appealing served the way it came. The cinnamon flavor always took away from the dish for us. We will definitely visit again and look forward to trying many of the other appealing dishes!

I ordered delivery and am extremely disappointed in the size of the meal. Compared to other pho places, this is terrible. I understand packaging for easy to warm up meals, but you are literally getting half the quantity compared to other pho restaurants. Very poor value and the quality does not make up for it. It is disappointing to pay full price to what amounts to a kids size portion. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Had a craving for some pho so I thought I would try this place by me. People have recommended Pho Binh to me before, but not at this location. Perhaps this was for a reason, because the pho I had here was solid but nothing impressive. I ordered my pho to go with rare steak, brisket, and fatty flank. The packaging was actually really good, with the rare meat packaged separately from the rest of the food, the noodles and cooked meats in a disposable bowl, and broth and veg separate. Assembly at home was easy and the broth was still piping hot. They did forget to add the fatty flank though. I will say that the meats included were some of the best quality I have had in a pho before. However, this did not make up for the lack of flavor and depth in the broth. It was aromatic and delicate, but the broth didn’t have any real flavor or meaty punch to it. I have had better phos, so my quest for a good neighborhood pho continues.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for a while, and I’ve always appreciated the great food and the kindness of the owners. This time, though, I had an experience that changed my opinion
When I placed my order, I intended to dine in as I always do. Although I wasn’t asked my preference. However, it was packed to-go and placed in plastic, this might not bother people but I try to avoid to-go because I don’t like my food coming in contact with plastic containers because of microplastics. But this was just a misunderstanding and I get it. When I mentioned I wanted to dine in, that’s where it started. the staff seemed a bit rushed and not very patient about making the adjustment, she first asked if she needs to change it. I said yea and she walked right off, a bit rude, she combined everything in one bowl, including the extra noodles I usually get on the side.
As I tried to ask for my usual sides like cilantro and onions, I was repeatedly cut off and directed to the cutlery area instead of being listened to. It took multiple attempts just to get the garnishes I always have with my meal. By the time everything was finally settled, the pho broth had gotten cold from all the transferring, and I ended up eating a lukewarm meal.
I watched her hurry through customers to sit back down and get on her phone. (She has headphones on through the whole thing)
To top it off, when I tried to explain the issue, another staff member stepped in and insisted that I had ordered to-go, which I hadn’t. It felt like I was being gaslit rather than heard. I want to emphasize that I know this doesn’t reflect the owners, who are wonderful people. I’m sharing this because I believe the food is great and the place is worth visiting, but the staff’s attentiveness and listening could use a little care. Hopefully, this helps improve the experience for everyone in the future!

During my most recent visit to the local Vietnamese restaurant, I had the pleasure of savoring their delectable chicken pho soup for the second time. This establishment operates on a counter-service system, providing a diverse range of delicious food options complemented by a selection of freshly squeezed juices.

Was very pleased with the pho. I feel the broth was well made. Especially if you like to make it custom to your taste. Such as adding fish sauce, Sriracha and hoisin.
Spring rolls with peanut sauce were very good. Definitely a great meal for a cold day.
The staff were friendly and even with a steady stream of people entering and exiting the restaurant. Food wait times and restaurant cleanliness was on point.
I’ll definitely come back again next time that I’m in the area.

Highly recommended. Mid Sept 2025 I notice a young lady walking from French Riviera after picking a large bag of bread from their commercial baking side – I asked her – where will you take this – she replied Pho Binh on Westheimer. I am big fan of French Riv, would love to try banh mi on their bread. I thanked her and made a note, must try. I was lacking a Pho or Banh Mi spot and was not actively looking, but just letting it come natural. In Houston, there are so many, and so many know-it-alls that know nothing but comment as if they are experts – not easy to get through all the online – noise. So weeks later, I am there. I look around – it’s yes – order at counter – normal – in Houston – works for busy working people very well – and it’s a bit cluttered – but clean and in a family or familiar way – with a comfy outdoor sitting area – which is very Vietnamese – as they love to socialize – I am not one – but I know this. So I see good signs. I order two banh mis chicken and pork – to take. Get’em home – found them to be expertly packaged – fresh – and oh so tasty. I will go again. All is good here. This is my place now for pho and banh mi. Pho to go is a no-no. It’s like coffee in Italy – you drink where it’s brewed – pho is to eat out – not in – it never travels well. Good day to all.
