Came by with my parents. My mom like coming here with her friends since staff is friendly and lets them yap without kicking them out.
I personally had the special pho for $17. Pricier end. Pho I would probably prefer pho ha noi based on taste and portions.
We also ordered a grilled pork banh mi $9.95, and a vermicelli pork $17.95.
Staff was friendly and offered me a drink for it being my first time.
Easy parking in the plaza.
RIP to the burger king that used to be here haha.
This little Vietnamese place right next to Ace Academy has quickly become our go-to after summer camp. After a long day of learning and running around, my kids always ask to come here and honestly I’m just as excited every time.
The space has a warm and cozy feel with a forest-inspired vibe. Even though they don’t take reservations, we’ve never had to wait long. They also have high chairs which is super helpful when we’ve got the whole crew with us.
My daughter calls it a hidden gem and she’s not wrong. The egg rolls are perfectly crispy and the combination chicken banh mi is our top pick. It’s packed with flavor and always hits the spot. The pho is also great especially on days when we’re craving something warm and comforting.
It’s the kind of place that just feels easy and welcoming. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and happy kids. We’re big fans.
Remember to bring CASH for tip. 10% already included in the bill and you leave the rest of the tip on the table in cash.
Price aside… The utensils are all wrong. Metal Fork and spoon alongside disposable chopsticks? It’s like make up your mind. Do you want to be eco friendly by using reusable utensils? But then they cheap out on the chopsticks with takeout chopsticks? Using the metal tools leaves a metallic taste in your mouse. Should have been ceramic/porcelain soup spoon and proper chopsticks.
No saucers for dipping.
Definitely don’t come here for the pho. I noticed most people got banh mi as takeout.
They did a good job of shaping up the interior and the drab windows are even tinted with color now.
I liked the broth of the beef pho and it came with a good amount of meat and green onions surprisingly. The noodle portion was on the small side.
They add an automatic 10% service fee which is fine as I would at least tip that much but just FYI in case anyone didn’t notice and take that into account before tipping more.
I had the special soup pho, I asked for spicy, and I added the red pepper they have on the table! Yum!! I also ordered a side of egg rolls and they were delicious as well!! I’ll be going back on my lunch breaks to taste more of their menu!
