One of my junior colleagues recently recommended a new pho restaurant he discovered, so we decided to try it for lunch on a rainy day. The pho paired well with the weather, and the restaurant had a clean, cozy atmosphere.

The broth had a rich flavor, though it was slightly too strong and not hot enough for my taste—I personally prefer my soup piping hot. Unfortunately, there were no vegetarian options available on the menu, which may be a drawback for some. The restaurant had only one unisex restroom, but it was clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. However, the loud Vietnamese TV broadcast in the background was a bit distracting. I’d suggest switching to an English channel or lowering the volume to create a more relaxed dining environment.

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Nice ambiance for dine-in with excellent service and soft music playing on speakers in the background. Everything is delicious, from the sandwiches, vermicelli bowls or pho soups

I wasn’t aware there was a Vietnamese restaurant in close proximity to me. Google Maps made me aware of Pho & Baguette. I stopped by on a Friday night after, I assumed, the dinner rush. There were only two couples in the place having dinner. This was the second time visiting. I was there earlier in the week, the service was so slow I actually walked out. The place was busy but there were four empty tables that hadn’t been cleaned off yet. I sat at a table that was near the counter. I had to get my menu from the counter person but they didn’t come to take my order for the 15 minutes I waited. They also didn’t clean off the tables. The person behind the counter was on their cellphone. I was not impressed and walked out determined to give them another chance when I had time to wait.
I ordered the Fried Chicken Dumplings as my appetizer. I have enjoyed Dumplings since I lived in Japan decades ago. This was the first time I didn’t enjoy Fried Dumplings. The coating was thicker than any Dumplings I’ve ever had, it was hard like fried bread dough. The chicken filling had no taste and little texture. It was akin to eating a badly done miniature empanada. I don’t recommend these if you’re accustomed to the thin crisp outer crust on Japanese and Chinese Fried Dumplings.
The large Brisket Pho was delicious. It was better than the other New Jersey Pho restaurants that I’ve tried. I am no expert on Pho. I won’t pretend to be an expert, I do know what I like.
I’ll be back to Pho & Baguette. I want to check their other menu items.

Been coming here a while. I want to give a higher rating but they are rarely consistent with their pho. I either get the wrong meat, the ingredients aren’t fresh, or the broth is dark (a sign of old broth). When they do it well, they do it really well, but after coming here for the past few years, I just don’t see a reason to eat here over any Edison spot that will deliver every time. Other than convenience.

The owner was super kind and the experience overall was good. My boyfriend had ordered sushi and he wasn’t a fan and the owner went above and beyond to fix it!! Also was my mom’s first time with pho and she loved it. The flavor was so good honestly the best pho I’ve ever had. Will be back!!! 🙂

It’s a clean place. Very cute inside. The sandwich were great. Ordered grilled chicken sandwich – wish the chicken was fresh cooked. But still taste nice.
The pho had too much noodles – like way too much. Which it had more broth than noodles. But it taste good.
Portion of meat was great, it felt dry because of lack of enough broth.
If you go ask for less noodles and more broth. You’d not be sacrificing on amount of noodles.

Great food and decent prices. Smells so good in there! Delicious broth in the rare beef pho, the fries for the kids were fresh and crispy, and the banh mi sandwiches were amazing. Nice crispy (not hard) baguettes with flavorful fillings (we had bbq pork and the traditional).

Clean and inviting. I would recommend!

Second time enjoying a meal at this location. The pork bao buns were amazing for a starter, and the Filet Mignon Pho is always my go-to when it comes to Pho, and it was great as well! The owner is a lovely lady who always provides the best service all on her own. The only downfall is that you can not add extra veggies to the Pho, unlike other places, and their speitzers aren’t all that great, especially for the price. Will go again!

The food was good overall but as expected.
Payed extra for the to add shimp ($4 for 3 pieces of shrimp that had no flavor.
Stake and vegies were grilled with a really good seasoning but didn’t go well with fried rice sice they both had really strong different flavors cooked completely apart from each other.
Spring rolls “delish”

Amazing authentic Vietnamese food, lighting fast and friendly service. The place has plenty of space and is not overly crowded. If you are a fan of Pho and spicy pulled pork this place is for you.
