This solid Vietnamese restaurant appears to be family-owned. We ordered Bun Bo Hue and vermicelli. The portions were generous, and we had enough leftovers for dinner.

Bun Bo Hue $20- It was good but personally preference for more lemongrass.

Grilled pork / egg roll vermicelli $18 – Fresh and tasty.

Gorgeous modern decor. Clean and inviting!

AMAZING PHO!! Banh Mi was mid… fresh and tasty, but the meat could have been more tender. The rare steak in the Pho could have been a little better too, BUT, the broth was FANTASTIC!! I understand what goes into making pho broth, and these guys have it nailed down. So flavorful and “clean”. Absolute stunner. Staff was 10/10!!

Pho was great. Loved their rib. The only other place I know that servers rib with the pho is in San Jose and is rather far away. Very clean hall with modern interior. Will definitely come back.

Have come here several times and have gotten the P1 (combo pho, XL) and it always hits the spot for me. I’d consider it the best pho around aside from going down to SJ and getting a fix.

Meals come out quick but service generally is just okay. The inside has a more modern feel to it with the white stick on 3D walls with the glues on glass. Decent enough size and have seen a large party of 10 in there so they can accommodate a fairly large group inside.

Service was good though the kid didn’t understand my customization so it seems like he may be a temp or part timer.

I ordered the beef stew noodle. First thing I noticed was the soup was too sweet. Then normally, the tomatoes soup base would be much redder with more tomatoes wish it doesn’t.

The beef stew was sizable but because it was chunky and all meat with only the fat on top, it was too dry. I think it’s the wrong kind of stew which should have some tendon and fats between the meat. I ended up didn’t even finish the meat cause it wasn’t delectable.

Then after I got home, I was extremely thirsty so I figure the sweetness is not just sugar and may be also MSG.

I also tried my wife’s grilled pork vermicelli. The fried egg roll was not authentic Vietnamese fried egg roll cause they didn’t use rice paper but just wonton wrap. The grilled pork also pretty dry.

I am not sure why the rating is so high, but I don’t think I’ll come back again since there are plenty of good pho place in Sunnyvale and Mt. View.

This is a newly opened pho restaurant with a bright and clean interior, creating a very welcoming dining environment.

We ordered the beef pho noodle soup — the broth was light and not greasy, a solid and decent bowl overall. It wasn’t the best we’ve had, but still enjoyable.

I especially liked the dry vermicelli bowl. The peanuts were extra fragrant, as if they’d been toasted or pan-fried for added flavor. There were plenty of fresh vegetables, and the grilled pork was thicker than usual, cooked just right — tender and not dry. The vermicelli portion was just right, and when mixed with the veggies, the balance was perfect. Definitely a dish I’d come back for.

It’s our 4th time visiting Pho Anh and this place became our new favorite Pho joint! Their food is flavorful and comes out really fast, exceeding our expectations every time — no wonder they become more and more busier with guests.

Very delicious pho! Big portions, good prices! My wife really loves the homemade shrimp paste that comes with the spicy lemongrass beef noodle pho. In fact we are hoping to buy some next time! The place is also very clean and well decorated. We will be regularly coming here for our pho fix! I also enjoyed their iced tea (only $1.50)

I wanted to like it but the pho was just ok. I waited for my husband to try as well because he likes pho. We ordered a bowl rare, brisket #7. He also requested a warmed sprouts but the produce arrived with cold sprouts, cilantro and a cut lemon. (Most of the pho we eat are usually lime. Yes, lime matters). The broth came out, had a strong cinnamon and cardamom smell. The meat a little tough and noodle stuck together. The cold sprouts cooled the broth so it was a struggle to break apart the noodles. We ordered a fresh pork roll, it was different from what we are use to, not bad. From a previous visit, my brother tried cha gio and a bun bowl, That was ok. I had hu tieu and to my surprise was a soup instead of dry form with soup on the side. The service is ok both times.

I’ve been to Pho Anh numerous times since it opened and, it has become one of my favorite places to eat. Two dishes in particular are my favorites. The Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and the Bo Kho (beef stew). Both are simply outstanding. Paired with an ice coffee, it’s a fantastic meal. With as many times as I’ve been there, I’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu. The spring rolls are great, especially with the dip that comes with it. There is also a decent selection of vegetarian dishes. The service is consistently quick and the decor inside is bright and clean. Parking can sometimes be a hassle as it’s relatively small and gets busy since there is a Nijiya Japanese market nearby.
