I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The prices are completely ridiculous — it’s somehow more expensive than upscale Vietnamese restaurants in Hawaii.
I went and ordered lunch for a medium bowl with a drink cost me $40, which is insane for the portion size and quality. That means the bowl is around $30 alone and the drink is $10 dollar. I even had to ask for a receipt to confirm the price, and just like other reviews said, there’s no clear price breakdown anywhere. It feels sketchy and dishonest.
There are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants nearby that serve better food for half the price. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This is scam! They didn’t have a proper receipt and set the price arbitrarily. please check your bill before you pay. I am writing this review to warn others about my deeply disappointing experience at Pho 99. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to two major issues: deceptive pricing and terrible customer service.
1. Incorrect Pricing / Overcharged Upon receiving the bill, I was shocked to see that I was charged 20.50 for the beef noodle This is significantly higher than the price listed on the menu, which clearly showed 16.99 When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they were dismissive,” “claimed the menu was old,” “refused to correct the charge, said it was a mistake but still made me pay the higher price. And he said 20.50 was the price after the tax but I did the math Connecticut sales tax is 7.35% after tax is 18.23. This is a dishonest practice and feels like a scam targeting customers who don’t double-check their bill.
2. Poor Attitude and Service: From the moment we walked in, the service was lacking. The staff was unwelcoming, ignored us for long periods,” or “visibly impatient. The man forced us to order oxtail noodle but when we said we dont like he seems like we are cheap. When we had a simple question about the menu, we were met with a sigh and a short, unhelpful answer. The overall demeanor of the staff made the meal feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I will not be returning and would advise others to check their bills carefully if they choose to dine here. There are many other excellent Vietnamese restaurants that value honesty and their customers

Not sure if the restaurant knows it has poor delivery packaging or this is normal. This is my third time ordering takeout on two different apps, and my third time being disappointed. Noodles are overcooked and in broken pieces by the time it gets to you. They are so disintegrated it is hard to pick them up and eat, with just a little starchy flavorless broth.

I miss my neighborhood Pho spot. I’ve heard a lot about this one, which is not too far away. It did not disappoint, the food is really good, The shrimp roll and the egg roll were really good and the Pho was great. The service was fast and friendly, and the place was nicely decorated and clean.

I came here with my family for dinner and was so happy with the selection and prices! The owner was having a buy 2 get one free special which was fantastic. The mi ga was delicious with high quality chicken and good broth. The owner is also extremely friendly and great to speak with.

Amazing broth probably the best in the local area definitely within the next five towns. Staff was amazing cleanliness was top-notch. Egg rolls were perfect. Also got the mango smoothie with bubble. They use fresh fruit and it was perfect. Overall I give the soup a nine because of the price and quantity. The egg rolls were definitely a nine as well. Staff and cleanliness for sure a 10

I hate to write a review on small restaurant but this was extremely disappointing! The cost of pho was extremely high for the quality !!! It is the worse pho I ever had ! The quality and taste was definitely not reflective of the price ! We order Togo and ask for the price which he did not give. We had pho from all over and this was the worse and the most expensive !

Havent been to this place since they were in East Hartford. Broth was much better back then. Its your average pho now. Decent portion, vietnamese coffee is ok as well and the owner is very nice coming out to check on people. Parking is convenient.
