If you’re looking for comfort food that actually delivers, Pho 88 is it.
I ordered a bowl of pho and an order of wings, and both hit the table hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The pho broth was clean, rich, and comforting without being overly salty—exactly how a good pho should be. The beef was tender, the tripe was well-prepared, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Add in fresh cilantro, onions, and a little chili oil, and it was an instant soul-warmer.
The wings were a surprise standout—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and glazed with just the right balance of savory and sweet. Not greasy, not dry… just done right.
What really sealed the deal for me was the attention to detail:

We ordered takeout to support their first day and everyone enjoyed the food! We got P9, P5, C1, and A4. The crab rangoons I think are the best in Anderson – super crispy and not sweet! The meats for the pho were tender and the broth was delicious. The pork chop tasted like a boneless sparerib which was not expected but also not a bad thing.
Everything for takeout was packed very nicely. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

Came for dinner around 6:30 on opening night. Wonderful food and helpful staff. It is very popular for dinner so expect to wait if coming for dinner. It is definitely worth it! We had pork spring rolls and a combo pho. We are so hair that something new has come to Anderson.

I got takeout since I had errands but the atmosphere and service while I ordered and waited was so inviting, warm welcome and friendly. The food was amazing! I got a vermicelli bowl with pork and shrimp and eggroll. The flavor was perfect and a little smoky. The food was really fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection. That may have been the freshest lettuce I’ve ever had! The eggroll was crispy with fresh ingredients. It was all so good. I cant wait to go back!

This place is the real deal!! Finally a solid authentic Pho restaurant in Anderson area. I visit Vietnam about 2-3 times a year and always come back craving the amazing food. This place delivers. Next time I am trying the Bun Bo!!

Vegetarians beware…
We were so excited to eat here after reading the menu posted on their Facebook page. My family picked their items, pho with meatballs, pho with mixed beef and egg rolls. I looked over the menu and picked from the few items that didn’t have beef, chicken or pork. I decided on the fried rice noodles with shrimp and requested tofu. Called in the order for pick up and was informed that they have decided to limit their menu and what I wanted was no longer available. While I completely understand, the limited menu now has nothing that is vegetarian/ pescatarian friendly. The very nice woman who took my order was able to modify a rice platter but tried to upcharge for it. I didn’t appreciate that considering there are literally no options for non meat eaters. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Anyway, everything was delicious and we will be back but at least 1 vegetarian option should be an consideration for every eating establishment.

Crowded at lunch, but our party of 5 was quickly seated. The food was outstanding, the servers were friendly, courteous and prompt. The delicious food was served quickly and efficiently.

Just went there with my lady, Incredible food and even better service! Pho 88 is easily some of the best I’ve ever had—rich broth, generous portions, and super fresh ingredients. It’s affordable, authentic, and delicious. Highly recommend.
