The Pho is really good and hit the spot. The broth was very flavorful.
A good bowl of Pho with Christmas music playing…can’t get much better than that!
The comments that reference restaurant being slow… they’re back there literally cooking from scratch. If your looking for something fast, go to Mcdonald’s.
Also don’t get bluntness confused with rudness. People are too sensitive amd seem to always look for something to complain about.

This place was within walking distance of my hotel, so I had to check them out. Don’t hesitate if you’re in the area and want some delicious pho. Lemon is server in place of lime, but it still tastes okay.
I ordered #4 and was very pleased with the broth and the amount of ingredients! Delicious!
The gyoza appetizer is tasty as well.
I tried the coffee, but probably won’t order it next time. It wasn’t bad, but it was mixed, on ice, and had a side of white sugar when it was brought out. I like to stir the dropped coffee over the sweetened condensed milk then pour it myself. No biggie, just a preference.
The staff was friendly as well.

The spicy steak phos the best. They actually have a combo right now that comes with a drink. Spring roll and pho of your choice. I always recommend the spicy steak bowl with extra steak!

Our family has been a loyal customer of Pho 88 for over a year, but our recent experience was so disappointing that I can no longer recommend this place. We decided to visit for dinner, hoping for the same enjoyable experience we used to have, but instead, we were met with a frustrating and lackadaisical service that ultimately cost them our patronage.
It took over 20 minutes just to get our drinks, which was the first sign that the evening was not going to go well. We ordered four dishes, and after nearly 30 minutes, we only received three. Even after two separate reminders to our waiter, we were met with indifference. When the third reminder was made, the waiter casually approached our table with the check in hand, almost as if to brush off our concerns. It was only then that he realized the kung pao dish we ordered had never arrived. Instead of offering an apology or suggesting a solution, he merely shrugged and said, “Yeah, been trying to catch up.”
This lack of accountability and care was shocking. There was no effort to rectify the situation or even offer a simple apology for the mishap. As a result, my wife was left without dinner while I fumbled through my own meal. For anyone who is married, you know that’s a recipe for a rough evening.

We passed Bakersfield and found this place by accident along the way of our road trip. It turned out a pretty good place. Pho is served in stylish bow and tastes great. Interior has a nice sense of style and decor, not like a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Wait staff was nice. I would recommend.

Food is 4 stars, price is 5 stars, place is kind of dank and dirty, but you get what you pay for. Tables turn over fast, so it’s understandable. Very affordable and delicious. They have hoisin sauce and hot sauce on the table.

Pho88 is one of my favorite places for Pho! Their Shrimp spring rolls are so good!! Service can sometimes be a little slow but I think like in many places, they’re finding it hard to hire people so you can’t hold it against, they do a great job at keeping their patrons happy and it’s worth the wait!

Clean environment and the staff and owner know customer service which is why I’ve recommended countless people to this amazing spot for pho! Excited to see that tendon is back on the menu!! The ambiance was kind of like a sports bar with beer signs and souju bottles as decoration. It smelled overwhelmingly like body order but was probably onions etc. And the servers were in street clothes.
Each bowl was about $15 (big bowls)
It took about 35 minutes for my two bowls of takeout and the restaurant was not full. I could also hear other customers complaining about the wait.
