It was so delicious we didn’t take pictures! Best Pho in DC! I had the brisket and meatball but everything is good. Food was ready quickly and service was attentive, if pho is not your thing there are other options but you are missing out. Pro tip, take your coat off, and enjoy the warm goodness of bone broth, rice noddles and your protein of choice.

I ordered on Door Dash and received the wrong items. I immediately called them and inform them of receiving the wrong items. The man that answered the phone argued that I didn’t receive the wrong items. I attempted to tell him what my DoorDash order/receipt stated but he would not listen. Food is really not worth the hassle or poor customer service. I don’t eat beef and they sent this and said that I made a mistake. Joke of a business.

Great food, great service!! One evening, we ordered food 30 min prior to closing through DoorDash, not realizing that the kitchen was no longer accepting orders for the night (DoorDash still processed the order ). When we arrived, the kitchen had already closed, but they let us come back the following day to pick up our order. Great service, and best pho in DC!

Located less than a 15 minute walk from Union Station, Phò 79 is a solid choice for Vietnamese noodle soup, rice & pork chops, marinated chicken, spring rolls and boba, Thai tea, etc. Phò portions are generous, soup is savory, everything tasted good, nothing greasy or salty. Service was excellent, prompt & friendly. Interior could use some updating, but you come here for the good food. Dining area is relatively small so there could be a wait during rush hours. Call for takeout orders. Limited street parking. Can’t go wrong here. Support your local small businesses & restaurants

Loved everything about this place! From friendly faces to absolutely delicious fresh meals and cool vibes; will be back. Tried tofu vermicelli and tofu spring rolls (saved them for dinner cause v-bowls are huge) and OMG what a treat! Fairly priced too. Parking is a little bit of a challenge—or it was for me, maybe cause I’m not from the area—but believe me, totally worth it. Don’t sleep on Pho 79!

I do not remember the exact location of the restaurant but I remember it is not too far from the capitol hill. I went there for lunch with my friends during my visit to Washington DC. I had rice with grilled pork. Rice is a bit tough but grilled pork is amazing. The taste is so good. I recommend you to have that. But Pho is not on par with the one that I had in Lorton. The prices are reasonable.

The pho here is fantastic! The broth is hot, flavorful, and so comforting. The restaurant is very clean and well-kept, which makes the dining experience even better. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything you need. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious bowl of pho—I’ll definitely be coming back!
