I ordered the large pho with shrimp, and it was excellent. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — you could taste the depth that only comes from hours of simmering. The shrimp were fresh and tender, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming. Everything about it felt authentic and satisfying.
I also ordered a side roll — cold, vegetarian, and served with shrimp. It was light, refreshing, and incredibly tasty, a perfect complement to the warm pho. The peanut dipping sauce tied everything together beautifully.
What I really liked about Pho 501 is how simple and straightforward the menu is. They focus on doing a few things, and doing them really well.
Overall, Pho 501 is a must-visit for pho lovers — great food, friendly service, and an authentic, no-frills atmosphere that makes you want to come back again soon.
The Place: It’s a comfortable spot, but don’t grab a seat when you walk in. You get in line, order, pay, and then you are given a table. It’s a good system, and it works well. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating here. They do a lot of take-out, too.
The Food: Phở. It’s delicious! The broth is really clean. I usually get the rare beef with a spring roll and the hot oil/chili crisp on the side. Additionally, I love the Vietnamese iced coffee.
Do I recommend this place? YES!!!
Will I be back? Of course!!!
Should you try it? Definitely!!!
The best Pho I’ve ever had.
And I love their motto as well.
“Never Forget your roots “
Pho 501 is a hidden gem that consistently serves some of the best pho in the area. The broth is perfectly balanced—deeply aromatic, not overly salty, and packed with umami flavors that only come from hours of careful simmering. The meats are always tender, whether you go for rare steak, brisket, or a combination bowl. The fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and chili on the side let you customize your pho to perfection. On Saturdays, they offer a spicy pho option that’s a must-try for anyone who loves a bit of heat—it’s rich, bold, and perfectly spiced. The only slight drawback is the small parking lot, which can get a bit crowded during peak hours, so plan accordingly. The quick and friendly service, however, makes it well worth the visit.
Authentic Pho lives up to its name by offering a pho experience that feels straight out of Vietnam. The broth is incredibly fragrant with hints of star anise, cinnamon, and cloves, reflecting the care that goes into its preparation. The noodles are always perfectly cooked, and the generous portions of meat and vegetables make each bowl a hearty, satisfying meal. Their spring rolls and banh mi are also worth trying if you’re looking to expand your Vietnamese food adventure. The cozy ambiance and welcoming staff only enhance the experience.
Both Pho 501 and Authentic Pho stand out for their dedication to authenticity and quality. Whether you’re a longtime pho enthusiast or a first-timer, these spots will leave you craving another visit. Highly recommended!

The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, with that perfect balance of aromatics and depth that keeps you craving more. Whether it’s the spicy kick of the Bún Bò Huế or the comforting warmth of the Phở, every dish is consistently delicious.
Even for takeout, everything is packaged meticulously—the broth stays hot, the noodles are separate and fresh, and the herbs and condiments are always generous and crisp.
