We live in southern CA and down the street from the original Phin Smith location in Orange County but my BIL was craving for Vietnamese coffee on the drive to Vegas and decided to check out this location.
We got the caphe brûlée which is an egg coffee. They will ask you if you want it Saigon or Hanoi style. Meaning condense milk for Saigon style or black for Hanoi style. We went with Saigon style for the sweet and creaminess.
Prior to this, we had already stopped at an American coffee shop.
The more I try different coffee, Vietnamese coffee is just the best. The coffee at Phin is strong, bold, Smokey nutty, bitter taste just how I like it.
This location is huge with many tables compared to the OC location. They offer unique flavors like peanut butter coffee which I have never seen before. Banana coffee and avocado coffee is another specialty.

Service was super quick. The line to order was long but moved quickly. Then you hop over to the next line with multiple registers to pay. You can also pick up pastries.

Being here so many times, no matter what time I get here, always hard to find a parking and never saw available seats. This is definitely a popular coffee spot that you don’t want to miss.
Can’t skip their coconut blended and javacado blended, both are heavenly delicious. They recently added the egg white Vietnamese coffee which is good and on the strong side. Their version of cafe sua da is good, too.
Tried the Korean Corn Syrup latte and the other popular item, banana latte, but they were just ok to me.
They also have tea options.
The service here is top notch and you pay after you taste the coffee with satisfaction, or they will remake for you to your preference.

This is actually my second time coming at this location. Very close to home. Very convenient to work and definitely a relaxing bar/coffee house. It is Vietnamese fusion with something else but their Vietnamese coffee is my number one. Also definitely a Michelin one star review outside of that friendly, welcoming and relaxing low fi music to get lost too and relax. They have a good selection on their menu, and it’s easy to navigate. Their service is excellent. The nice lady that helped me at the the counter was friendly and had great customer service. I also noticed her smile and she had her customer service presence is infinite Definitely stop by if this is your first time or just trying something different during your cafe experience. The quality of the coffee is phenomenal. Their “Den Da” is better than any iced coffee/cold brew I’ve had. The Sua Da Classic Vietnamese style coffee is awesome, strong, and very flavorful. The most recent drink I’ve tried was the Ca Phe Brulee and though I don’t typically like specialty foam floated on coffee, this thing was rockin’!
Overall this is a wonderful coffee shop. I wish they were open later in the evening, but I’ll have to visit on the weekends when I have time.

Stumbled upon this gem as we were making our drive back from Vegas to Los Angeles. The coffee was so good, as well as the pastries, and what was somehow even better where the people working there! Everyone was welcoming and extremely helpful. Hailey walked us through the menu and took her time describing drinks that we didn’t know so that we would be satisfied and get exactly the flavors we were looking for. We truly felt so taken care of! Thank you, Hailey! It was the perfect way to start the morning before our journey home.

Always looking for a local coffee spot. I was lucky to find Phin Smith. The place off the bat is beautiful, inviting and smells amazing. I got the Den Da over ice, I didn’t even know what I was ordering. The baristas assured me if I didn’t like it they would make something else. I felt like ratatouille tasting food for the first time. Explosions, depth of flavors I didn’t know coffee even had. I like my coffee black so it’s just the coffee talking and boy was I like what it was saying. I was there every morning and stopped in later that evening and got a hot cup, sat on the comfortable couches with my laptop. Perfect.

This place is legit. Their banana and peanut butter coffee is incredible. I love that they make the drink and ask you to taste it before paying for it. The only thing is you will have to probably wait a little bit to find a parking spot since this complex has a lot of little shops that have great food/ drinks. For example, the Boba spot next door is incredible too (O tea bar)

I stopped by this place because my usual coffee shop closed early for some reason. Upon walking inside, there was a line of about 50 people winding around the inside of the store. I hopped in line, thinking that if all these people are waiting, it must be good..?… Well, it was!!
I let the barista know it was my first time there, and she insisted that i try my drink first before having me pay… Nonetheless, the drink was amazing and way better than I expected.

Absolutely amazing experience!! I’m in Vegas visiting and I would take the drive out to this place again! They have amazing drinks and plenty of options. They make your drink and let you try it. After you try it, you can have it remade or just purchase it from there. My only issue was the space. There wasn’t plenty of room, but otherwise it was great. Highly recommend
