My wife and I stopped in to try their food one Saturday. I ordered the mango habanero burger and she tried the hamburger steak. All of the staff was very nice. The food arrived quickly. We both really enjoyed our meals. We will definitely go back and eat there again. It was delicious.

My husband and I just happened to pick Phil’s Grill because it was close to 65. The best decision ever! The smell alone of the smoked meat when you walk in is mouthwatering. The server let us sample a side to help us decide, which was so nice, then the food came out extremely quickly after we ordered!
The portions are very generous, and the food DELICIOUS! Best ribs we have had in a long time. Fall off the bone, smokey, just all around amazing.
It is not fancy, but it is homey, cute, and clean. The people are kind and friendly.
I highly recommend! My husband and I cannot wait to be up this way again.
P.s. my husband is very particular about his BBQ nachos, and these were better than what had previously been his favorite!

Stumbled upon Phil’s and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice, and Phil came out and spoke with those present. The atmosphere was family-friendly and homey. Had the ribs and they nicely done with a mildly smokey taste. The sauce was sweeter than my personal taste, but was great with the ribs. My wife had the BBQ Nachos which she enjoyed. Looking forward to the next visit. 2 people ~ $25.

Great little BBQ joint plus it’s not just the BBQ that is good. Many good options on the menu. My wife and I have eaten there many times and love it. Phil comes out and talks with everyone when he isn’t busy in the kitchen. Locals love and it’s worth the trip if you’re not local.

My family and I were heading to Gulf Shores, Al and decided to stop to eat. Since there was an accident on 65, I searched for restaurants near us and this showed up on the list. The staff was wonderful, the food was good including the sweet tea, and the owner was very friendly. Ask for the peanut butter pie. We will definitely be back.

My son had the BBQ nachos there was a generous portion of BBQ with the nachos. Some places will give a smaller portion with a dish like that but not here. I had the small BBQ plate which came with two sides. The BBQ was delicious vary tender and moist, no sauce was needed even though some was provided because the BBQ had a great taste. They continued with the big servings on the BBQ plate. I ordered a small plate but the portion of meat was like most places large plate. I chose baked beans and a vinegar-based coleslaw which I believe they called hot slaw. Both were good but the serving size of the coleslaw was kind of small. All and all the food was good and I would recommend it.
