It was a busy Saturday evening, so things were taking a bit longer, but the hand tossed pepperoni pizza and boneless sweet chili wings were worth the wait! The team that was working, including the manager, were kind and working together like a well oiled machine! Regulars were coming in, and they were greeted by first names and asked if they wanted their usual order. The atmosphere is hometown and the restaurant is clean. It appeared they have a little room off to the side for a smaller party gathering if you would need to be accommodation for that. Outdiir seating is available in the summertime. The menu is pizza, wings, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. They have a points system as well, so you can save money that way as you aquire points. They run specials and coupons, so be sure to look for those, especially in this economy, although they are relatively reasonable in price.

A friend and I ate pasta dishes for the first time. I usually order pizza Absolutely delicious and filling. Took home leftovers. The “roll” with the meal was a small loaf of bread. There was only one waitress and there were several tables plus she answered the phone. Another employee gave us additional items. We stayed for a couple of hours talking while no one disturbed us. My friend, who ate here for the first time, wants to return to this hidden gem in Marthasville.

Phillys knows how to make the best pizza around. And I’m not just saying that because it’s the only pizza around. We come from St. Charles just to get to eat some good food and have never been disappointed. They also have a great room in the back for larger parties that we’ve utilized before and it was very nice and private.

Worth the drive to Marthasville from Washmo for some excellent pizza.
I prefer the hand tossed over the Chicago style but the Chicago style was good too.

I won a free 14” pizza! I got a mushroom pizza and bought a soda while I waited which was only 15 minutes! I love Philly’s Pizza. Love, love love the boneless bbq wings!

The pizza was better than chain – but not as good as most dedicated pizza places. We had a large group and to accommodate us, we had to sit outside. Drinks and refills are self-service, which was quite inconvenient when sitting outside.

I’ve visited twice now and tried a variety of different things, and all of them were wonderful!
The Chicago deep dish is more like just a thick crust pizza with sauce on top, but it was good. The hand stretched crust is my favorite – that perfect balance between just slightly crispy on bottom, with a soft, chewy outer crust.
I don’t usually dip things in marinara, but I love theirs! I found myself dipping the toasted ravioli (delicious on their own!), the mozzarella sticks, and the outer crust of each piece of pizza. It’s thick, full of flavor, and not overly sweet.
We had the same server both times and she was friendly and attentive, even though one of the times we were there every table was full, as well as some of the patio seating. They also seem to do quite a lot of carry out orders.
