This place was 10/10! Me and my friends went in for crabs. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The crabs and mussels was delicious and huge. Also there was definitely a taste I have never tasted before which was good. We were able to play card games & do karaoke. Everyone was a vibe. GO HERE!

The sign did say closed when we arrived but they quickly opened their doors for us! We arrived minutes before their to go screen was up but the owner gave us drinks while we waited (non alcoholic, its a byob) the wait for the food wasn’t long & the rolls were so fresh & soft. The food was absolutely amazing and worth the wait. The atmosphere was cool, music could be a little lower so early on if you’re trying to enjoy the restaurant side of the place but I get the vibe the owner is going for. At the end of it all the food was freaking smackkkkkkkk and we will be going again.

Came here once before, and they popped up on my TL. I was very hype to see they had dirty yak. So I ordered the chicken and shrimp one, and I must say it was so flavorful. It was also a good amount of both shrimp and chicken. Now the fish hoagie, that was amazing as well. The bread was so fresh and soft, and the fish was cooked to perfection not dried out nor salty. I loved the sauce they put on top. Definitely recommend.

My family and I visited this restaurant and HAD an AWESOME experience. It’s not only black owned, but he’s Muslim as well. The food & customer service was 5 ‘s. We enjoyed every dish we ordered! The owner came out, talked to use, explained different items on the menu. He even had a 1 on 1 with my husband and about the things he had plans on doing for the children in the community.
Alhamdulillah
We will definitely revisit SOON. Shukran for an awesome experience!

heyyy I ordered shrimp and ribeye yak yesterday. I had it picked up, so I can’t speak on the dine-in experience. here’s my review:
– it tasted really good!
– the price was a lil steep but I figured for the halal ribeye + shrimp, it gotta be worth it
– so unfortunately there was not much steak in my dish. like I had to go hunting through my noodles to find it, and the small pieces I actually got to taste….. had a gamey flavor like it could’ve actually been lamb?? just pointing that out for the chef to be more aware in the future
– I would’ve appreciated more shrimp too, just considering the price
oh yea I also ordered fried chicken + mac & yams. my kids loved it! i will say, i do think 8 wingdings instead of 6 would be more fair.
so on the bright side, my food was good & it was ready for pickup really quick! thank you for making my evening easier!

Wife was seriously craving some soul food, so we decided to stop by Philly Krave in Darby—and man, we were NOT disappointed! Everything was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. We got the fried chicken wings, mac & cheese, and candied yams… each bite tasted like it came straight from someone’s kitchen, not a restaurant. The wings were crispy and seasoned just right.
We also tried the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, shrimp, and asparagus. That salmon was perfectly charred and juicy, and the shrimp had a nice kick to them. You can tell a lot of love goes into this food.
Definitely coming back. If you’re in the area and want legit soul food, Philly Krave is it!

I visited this place this past Sunday along with 9 other women to celebrate my sister’s 55th birthday. The place is very small but the atmosphere was a vibe. The food was good (average), a step up or two from a food truck and it’s BYOB. The problem emerged when we received the bill. Our total was $820.63; out of the $820.63, there was $156.00 of non food items listed, plus an additional mandatory gratity of $125.20 (no percentage-just a flat rate). We were charged $2.00 per person for “spring” water (an 8 ounce liquor glass of dirty water that tasted like onions). We ordered Krave wings, and was charged an extra $2.00 for Krave sauce. Someone ordered buffalo wings and was charged an extra $2.00 for buffalo sauce. They charged $10.00 per person for BYOB!! There’s also $100.00 charged for “open food”. We still have no idea what “open food” is!
In summary, we ordered $539.43 worth of food (taxes not included) and was charged an additional $281.20 of miscellaneous charges. Needless to say, I will never patronize this place ever again. It is not foreign to us to pay large amounts to eat good food, and typically tip way more than the 20% gratity standards.
I wish I could post a photo of the recipient!!

Service was great! The owner made my family and I feel very welcome and checked on us frequently. I ordered the jerk salmon cheesesteak, loaded mashed potatoes, and peach lemonade. The food was very well seasoned, came out hot, and you could really taste the peach in the lemonade. I really enjoyed my meal and the bang bang sauce was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
