The absolute BEST Philly I have had in Charlotte. Hands down. Philly Corner has everything you want in a great cheesesteak. The steak is juicy and chopped very fine, there is plenty of provolone, and the ingredients are fully customizable to fit personal palettes. This spot is the Queen City’s best kept secret.

I tried this place for the first time today and it was delicious! The food was fresh, hot, and accurate to my order. Everyone was very kind when I walked in as well. The atmosphere was clean and inviting which is a nice change of pace from some restaurants. I plan to come back 🙂

Came here because I seen all the other reviews and thought this would be a nice new place to try. Got there and already people coming up to the counter with messed up orders, the cashier you could tell was frustrated and some how I got the attitude when I asked to add a drink there was no tea made and their drink station looked nasty and unkept,so I ended up leaving with no drink either. My sandwich was a 6.5/10 the mayonnaise was very overwhelming as a lot was put on. Really had high hopes for this place, maybe just bad timing. Will not be returning, but the pickle was good.

They have the BEST lemon pepper wings….dry rub the way I love it. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and great. We will be returning.

Five stars for being exactly the perfect fit for what it wants to be- a corner shop cheese steak joint that somehow exists in Charlotte. I took my dad (who is born and raised Philly) and he nodded approvingly. Is anything EXACTLY like it is when you are physically there? No. But is this one of the best cheesesteaks he and I have had in the south? Absolutely.

Discovered this hidden counter service gem looking for something other than the typical fast food places along the road. Fairly priced, everything is cooked to order quickly and served straight off the grill or out of the fryer, so give it a moment. The pepperoni cheesesteak is something you can not eat all the time, but you should definitely try. It takes guilty pleasure bragging rights and provides inspiration to hit the gym.
