If you love classic American greasy spoons this is the place for you. No fuss no frill, just great service and classic diner favorites. I personally like the “garbage omelette” with everything but the sink.

Had a wonderful meal at the diner this morning. Excellent food and pleasant staff and atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and check out this local favourite.

The food is great but service is slow. It’s price is good for the area. It’s cash only. The bathroom is clean not bad. It’s a good place for breakfast.

My experience: 6 flies at any given time landing on you or your food. My mistake for ordering fish and chips in a small town diner sure, but to be fair I did ask how it was and the waitress said it was good, and said they use a homemade batter. But the fish was cooked to the point where I couldn’t even bite through most of it and the fries were cheap. lol I am still giving 5 stars anyway because the main reason you go is for the atmosphere of a small town diner that countless generations and circumstances have passed through – since 1948! one element that adds to the atmosphere is the musky smell, particularly if you’re sitting by the wooden part of the interior.

Not worth the money. I ordered biscuits and gravy for $7.25, it was basically biscuit soup. One small biscuit cut in half, drowning in gravy. I also ordered an ice tea, which I was charged $3.75 and NO refills… honestly, the server should just let people know ahead of time. It’s definitely a rip off. But you can get refills on soda “because they don’t make it”. My father got a 2 egg meal, which doesn’t come with hash browns or home fries, and was $8.25, then $5.50 for the home fries…. I honestly wish we never came and now my dad is banned from choosing restaurants.

Breakfast special was well worth the trip. Be aware that they don’t take credit or debit cards, but we liked it so much that we went twice. Found it by accident on the way to vacation and made sure to stop on the way back. Great and friendly service. We will definitely stop there again when out that way.

Great Diner in Ogdensburg! I had to pick up a package at the UPS Store and asked where a good place for breakfast was and they directed me down the street to Princes Diner!
