We are visiting from TX to see the IU @ MSU game & dropped by not because we are big on cider but because the space looked sweet & got such nice reviews. Skye was our friendly lovely perfect host. She generously offered tastes but we jumped into a taster tray & loved every single sip. I grew up in rural Indiana & my dad planted 2 yellow delicious & 2 Jonathon trees in our cow pasture. Drinking the Jonathon cider here was a Ratatouille/Proust moment for me. Gracious hospitality paired with pleasant music played at a reasonable volume in the warm glow of a cozy space. 5 stars isn’t enough.

Try the pizza! We have tried several kinds and have loved them all. You can order a small 8” for $10. I recommend the Hot Honey Ham, Dill Pickle, Margarita, and the Marry Me Chicken pizzas. The service great – super friendly the moment you walk in the door. They also have cider flights and desserts!

We had great service. I always enjoy their flights. The Magdeline is my favorite. The food is very good; I’ve had the pizzas and the smoked whitefish spread. The vibe is low-light, celebrating Michigan with a light touch of boho. Great setting for fun gatherings with friends.

This is such a charming place to pop in for a quick stop or stay and visit with friends or family, or maybe you need to spend some time alone and unplug. Phillips Cider Bar has so much to offer. They have baked goods, from traditional cider donuts and pies, to my new favorite, the lemon lavender sugar cookie. As well as variety of drinks to accompany your baked treats.
The atmosphere is welcoming, as was the staff who were friendly and talkative but not intrusive. There was so much to see, I need to go back again. I didn’t get a good look at all of the jewelry, photography, hand crafted items, not to mention all of the preserves, syrups, I could go on. Give yourself plenty of time for a visit, you’ll need it.

Very cute cider bar and market! They had some great Lansing specific items in the shop. They even had some gluten free baked goods for sale! I will have to give the ciders a try next time I’m not just swinging through. The atmosphere of the cider bar was very warm and welcoming. Service seemed nice and attentive. Food menu listed gluten free options too! I will be back.

They have ciders for every! They all have their own unique characteristics and the absolute best is the cider with a pickle in it! (I know it sounds weird, but it’s fantastic!)
We had their gluten free pizza and it was great as well! They have some great toppings you can’t get at many places.

Great little gem in Frandor. The interior is so cute and well designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The ciders were delicious and the baked goods were fantastic, especially the Lemon Lavender Cookies. The hardest part was trying to find how to get into the parking lot.. the best way is to head north on Homer St from Michigan Ave. Definitely can’t wait to go back!

1852 is my favorite! Also love tuesday movie night. Delicious cider and pizza, great atmosphere. Appreciate the gluten free and vegan options!
FYI if you are someone who struggles with noisy bars this place is a HAVEN.

Sweet little spot for cider and food. Got some yummy pizza, the white fish dip and did a cider tasting. Ended up buying a growler and have been refilling it here since! They’re super nice and helpful here.

Delicious apps and pizzas, and an incredible selection of hard ciders, fruited ciders and hopped ciders. A perfect place to catch up with friends or have a casual but very classy date night. Don’t sleep on the pimento cheese dip, or the dill pickle pizza. Can’t wait to go back and try a flight of different ciders and try to pick a favorite out of their selection! Oh, don’t forget to stop at their bakery next door! The lemon lavender cookies are next level.
