Had a business meeting in Phillips and a person on Facebook recommended it. Me and my mom were here on 2/3/2026. Just a little before 11am. It was quiet and very cozy. Gave a warm welcome. My mom had breakfast and taco Tuesday just started. Everything was wonderful!!! Coffee was always filled and the waitress was very kind. Food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. With the extra money I saved I gave a extra tip to the waitress. I’ll be back there anytime I’m back in the area

10 out of 10 we had great service. we had Kimmy as our server and she was awesome. The soup I had was absolutely delicious and the tuna casserole absolutely the best. And honestly awesome place to eat.

Exactly what you would expect for a cafe. For what it is everything met my expectations and was an oasis on my return from the Northwoods. On this trip I had the fish fry. Very fresh, hot and quick. Had a nice selection of fresh pies as well. I would stop again on my travels north

I should have known that on a Tuesday night they wouldn’t batter their own cod. I did order the fried cod though and it was basically the same frozen Gordon’s fish you can get in the store. It wasn’t bad but nothing special. However the salad was surprisingly good and tasty. Also, the fries were GREAT!!!

Tough to beat their four piece chicken dinner and there’s always some regulars there talking about what’s going on with them. Not a fancy place, but it’s clean with good service and home made food that comes out hot and for a very reasonable price. We go to this restaurant at least once every time we’re in town.

Staff is friendly and service is quick. The atmosphere has a very “at home” type of feeling. We have enjoyed many things on the menu. Our favorites are the logger omelet with hash browns, steak and egg breakfast, the shrimp dinner and chili. The veggies and always fresh.
