Checked out their Elkton location on the sole strength of the Eater video and review, was not at all disappointed. This place is a smoked BBQ joint with tons of Filipino flavor.
Early 2000s hip hop was pumping from the speakers in the tiny dining area. The whole restaraunt smells sweetly of BBQ smoke.
Wait wasn’t too long on a Saturday around lunch time. Had the excellent pulled pork with slaw, along with some smoked kielbasa, OMG fingers (lumpia or thin crispy eggrolls) and the pulled pork fries (a solid choice).
Service was friendly and felt like family. Prices weren’t outrageous. The location is right off 95 so we’re definitely stopping off here again.

Fantastic food and friendly people
This is one of those rare places that does EVERYTHING right. All the meats are always fresh and tasty, and the sauce is sweet with the right amount of kick. The staff is super-helpful and greets me by name whenever I walk in–it has a really “home-y” atmoshphere. The chicken kabobs are my favorite item, and my only complaint is that the kabobs are often sold out by 6pm. All of their sides are unique and delicious, and I typically can’t stay away from this place for much more than a week.

Man if you haven’t tried this food, you’ve got to go today. The only thing better than the food are the owners. Couldn’t be nicer.
Ribs are unreal and juicy. Brisket sandwich is smokey and delicious. Recommend extra BBQ sauce with it. Also a big hit is the macaroni salad the way they eat it in the Phillipines. Wow.

I ate the most delicious barbeque pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Also the North Carolina Coleslaw was very good. The waitress was very nice. The restaurant was clean and the rustic decor was satisfactory.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Small place. The smoker is almost the same size as the restaurant. It’s bbq done right.

Consistently good! Amazing smoky BBQ and authentic phillipino side dishes. A little hole in the wall with a few tables and walk up counter. Ask the friendly staff for suggestions if you’re not too familiar with the food. The brisket will melt in your mouth and get at least two orders of the phillipino egg rolls!

The place is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is excellent. Absolutely worth going to if you are a BBQ fan. You can park directly in front or just to the side for free. Bring cash if you plan to order less than $10 to avoid an extra fee to cover card processing (about a dollar).
