Good quality comfort food! All the food we had was very good and felt like you were at Grandma’s eating all her home cooked food. Plenty of available seating and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Out server was amazing. We were passing through on our way home from a weekend trip. Glad we stopped and tried this cozy little diner! Definitely recommend trying it out if you are in the area!

It is worth the longer drive out of town to come to this great diner. I had the grilled trout which is flaky and melted in my mouth. My partner opted for the steak hoagie with waffle fries. Service is friendly and makes the entire experience even morr pleasurable. Highly recommended!!

As we were passing through Philippi they’re hardly any restaurants heading back to the interstate. The other restaurant in Philippi was closed. So, we decided to eat here. This place is NASTY & DIRTY inside! The bathroom is disgusting it looked they haven’t cleaned this place in ages. However, we ordered prior to going to the bathroom. The food was a little pricey and a lot of it was microwaveable. I will never be back here! DO NOT EAT HERE!

Do not eat here if you have celiac. My daughter has celiac and we told the waitress. She assured us there was no gluten, rather than saying she wasn’t sure which would have been much more safe/helpful. We got chicken and rice (both non gluten), but there must have been severe cross contamination. My daughter has been throwing up all night.

order was wrong. order hamburger with gravy and mushrooms, did not get gravy. don’t order the cole slaw unless you like cole slaw as a dessert. it so sweet that i couldn’t eat it. this order was a take out meal and the thrid they got something wrong on the meal
