This was our first time here today and the food was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent. The servers were constantly filling our water and changing out cutlery in between courses.
We started with the fried calamari and spanakopita as appetizers. Two out of the four of us ordered off of the prefix lunch special which includes an appetizer, entree and dessert for $24.95. I got the lemon soup, Athens shrimp and cheesecake. The portions were great and everything tasted wonderful. My son got the lamb chops and his girlfriend got the Greek salad. Both fresh and delicious. My husband ordered the Imam which was layers of eggplant in a delicious sauce and the Santorini clams pasta. For dessert we had the baklava & cheesecake. Everyone raved over their food and we were absolutely stuffed. They also have prefix dinner for $35.00.
We will definitely be back.

My go to place for Greek food is usually in Astoria but decided to try this place since it’s closer. I have to say, it did not disappoint!! Overall food was good especially the squid pasta with lobster, sword fish and branzino. Owner is a bit quiet maybe just nervous but very nice. Will definitely be back

We had decided to try Philia today it was nothing but amazing! Beautifully decorated, there aren’t many restaurants on the Island decorated like Philia. It felt like I was in Manhattan. We had such an awesome time cozy, definitely a place to go at this time of the year. It made my day they do add 3.5% on credit cards food was very good we recommended. For the time well decorated definitely worth it well done

First time diners at this lovely, bright and airy restaurant. The meal was DELICIOUS! We started with well prepared pomegranate and fig martinis, perfect and not too sweet. We had the grilled halloumi which they serve over grilled tomato slices, a very generous app. We also shared a Greek salad, so fresh and enough for 4 people, we were only 2 so we took half home. I had the NY Strip, which was wonderful and perfectly cooked and a bargain at $42! As good as any high end steakhouse. ( I cheated with hand cut fries, and I was glad I did!), my friend had the branzino which she loved. We finished off with the Greek yogurt cheesecake topped with cherries, amazing! The staff were without exception warm and inviting ( and well trained)! My new favorite Greek restaurant!!

My wife and I gave this place a try on a Wednesday mid afternoon and had a great meal that was backed by a wonderful staff. Parking is a little tough but it’s worth the walk from the car to this wonderful Greek restaurant.

Outstanding experience!! Starting with the greeting we received from Diego, the owner, and our sever, Luis, we couldn’t have felt more welcomed! Diego told us of the specials, one of which was the most delcate swordfish I have ever had , but first we started with Halumi and Loukonico, Cypriot specialties, not to be missed!( fyi, special cheese and handmade sausages). One friend had swordfish, also, the other friend had Plaki, filet of sole prepared with a delicate, aromatic sauce. We shared a homemade baklava “sundae”, with finely chopped walnuts, topped w/ vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle!!! The ambiance is pristine, warm and reminiscent of Santorini, with videos onscreen and mixed Greek music! Plesse try this exquusite experience.
