This is the best place to get a “philly cheesesteak” around the harrisburg area. It has been around a long time, quality is always there. I have been impressed while there how the owner handles and treats his young staff. Service & Speed is usually best during the day when he is there although it will be very busy and the line can be long. You can go elsewhere and they will be using the same Liscios rolls and the same cheese whiz and it will not taste the same. Hoagies are good but they arent as good as the steaks. Stick to the line on the left. My last Hoagie I wasnt impressed with the amount of meat.

I’ve been coming here for awhile now, but this last order prompted a review.
Normally I keep it simple with an original with extra onions and sweet. My first time here I didn’t know how to order and made myself a sub par sandwhich. Then I discovered the Original with onions and sweet peppers. It had been my go to for the better part of a year until today I decided to do doordash for their subs.
When I first fell in love with cheesesteaks, it was from some local mom and pop that also sold beer and cigarettes, along with your usual convenience store fare. This steak was what most people here in PA call a california cheesesteak: Sauteed onions and steak, provolone cheese on a roll with lettuce, tomato, mayo. It quickly became my favorite food. Fast forward to today where I now currently live in Mechanicsburg(previously MD). I have never quite found that exact taste in any cheese steaks here until today. I decided to go out on a limb and create a cooper american cheesesteak with mayo, lettuce, raw onion and hot peppers.
I am immediately brought back to my first cheesesteak experience and have been left in awe. The cheesesteak I inhaled today not only captures that savory juicy goodness that made me hooked on cheesesteaks in the beginning but also showcases why Philadelphia Steak and Hoagies is among the best steaks in the area. I never would have made a review before today because if you know, then you know, but this standout to me warranted the review. Thank you Philly Steaks and Hoagies.

This Philly cheese steak sandwich is the real deal! I’m absolutely obsessed. The staff is super friendly, and the food is mouthwateringly delicious. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves a good cheese steak sandwich!

the food is genuinely elite, its so perfect and always is so loaded and like well made, the service is really well, all the workers have that like zing where they work really well, the atmosphere is really good too, families, friendgroups and people of all ages

Recently moved to the area and have tried cheesesteaks throughout the area, BUT NOTHING Compares to this guys they are amazing, great people 10/10 customer Service. Haven’t had a cheese steak this good! Definitely will be coming back…. Long lines, don’t worrry it’s worth it!!

I was on vacation from Florida and wanted a cheesesteak. My brother who works in the area took me here and I am glad he did. Great cheesesteak and man was i full. I got the small so that tells you they pack that baby well. Ordered mine with wiz,onions, and sweet and hot peppers. I am back in Florida and wish I could have another one. Going to be my go to spot whenever I go back to visit!!!

A friend recommended this place to me. As an avid lover of cheesesteaks I wanted to try it out. I guess I’m used to Chicago style or such cheesesteaks because the cheese whiz threw me for a loop. I told the lady behind the counter that I’m from Texas and wanted to try a good, authentic Philly cheesesteak. She recommended the cheese whiz and sweet peppers (which I subbed for mushrooms because I just don’t care for sweet peppers in general). Her recommendations were PHENOMENAL. Never in a million years would I have thought putting pizza sauce on a cheesesteak would be good…but it was!!! I really appreciated her hospitality in the matter. It’s a hole in the wall, but it’s a tasty place with friendly staff. I can’t wait for another business trip to come here again.
