THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA PLACE ON LONG ISLAND! When me and my friends come we each spend $5-10 dollars each and have a great time. Service is always amazing, VERY friendly and is welcoming to everyone! The atmosphere is incredible always decorated for every holiday, season and you can tell effort was put in! very accessible and they do dine in, delivery, and takeout whenever you want it’s really fast. I love this place so much!

The pizza was on another level: perfectly crispy on the outside yet light and airy, with fresh ingredients that melts in your mouth. When I tell you, this place makes not only the best grandma pizza, the baked clams and the fried calamari is top-tier. I placed an order yesterday for today, which is Christmas Eve. For a traditional pizzeria they did good. It was your average slice. But not average size, so where the pizza wasn’t anything special you get a little more of it so a good bag for your buck. All in all if I was in the shopping center again it’s a maybe from me.

Phil & Sons Pizza in Plainview is way too hyped for what it actually delivers. We tried the Pink Penne Pasta, and it was horrible — bland, poorly cooked, and nowhere near worth the price. Overall, the food felt average at best but was severely overpriced for the portion size and quality ($21 per serving / box).
The place seems to rely more on hype than consistency or flavor. Given the high prices and expectations, this was a big disappointment. There are far better options in the area that offer better food and value. I wouldn’t go back or recommend it.

The atmosphere was nice. As an out of towner, I was hoping for better service. The pizza was not tasty, and expensive $11.60 for 2 small pepperoni slices..?! And no receipt offered…..Ridiculous, never again
