Ham and cheese Omelette with hash browns and sourdough toast. are great and the service was great. my husband had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and loved it also I would definitely stop by again when I pass through. It is a great family owned restaurant and has very reasonable prices it was less than $25 for the both of us. If you happen to be in Hays you should stop by and enjoy. Great place and atmosphere.

We have stopped a few times now as we head to or from visiting our kid. Most times it is fantastic food & service. Sometimes it isn’t. The one time the food was bad they replaced the food for us quickly & it was fine. I think they aren’t always sure how to handle a complaint or when something isn’t right. All in all the food is good. And the service is acceptable.

Loved stopping at the Pheasant Run Pancake House in Hays, KS for breakfast on a recent road trip. The food was wonderful! Carter was attentive to our needs & all the the folks were friendly. I definitely recommend this family owned restaurant!

I don’t know what happened here? But it was the worst, most expensive deli turkey want to be open faced hot turkey split sandwich my husband amd I have ever tried to eat! Just horrible! Only 1 slice of bread, deli cold sliced turkey. Canned gravy, rubbery tasteless green beans. And homemade ranch dressing??? With pickles in it?? WTH? It tasted like tarter sauce. Asked to have another dressing, the waitress was very kind brought me another salad with French dressing?? Another homemade mess! Made with tomato soup!! Wow! Last time eating at the Pheasant Run! What a waste of money!!

Best breakfast spot in Hays. Definitely try the pancakes or waffles with peanut butter sprinkles! It’s usually busy! Always worth the wait.

Loved it. I had the corned beef hash with two eggs (I had medium poached eggs) it was perfectly done. The pancakes were just a teensy bit crispy on the outside and soft and steamy ony the inside and MUAH! Even the decaf coffee was good.
