One of the best Thai restaurants in the area with flavors that are comparable to the famous Thai restaurants in NYC! I usually get the shrimp drunken noodles and they consistently deliver on quality and bold, authentic flavors. The noodles are perfectly cooked, the shrimp are fresh and tender, and the sauce has that ideal balance of savory, spicy, and slightly sweet.
The service is always friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff makes you feel welcome right away and they’re great about answering questions or accommodating spice level preferences. Even during busy times, the food comes out quickly and everything feels well organized.
The ambiance is cozy, clean, and inviting. It’s a great spot whether you’re dining in for a relaxed meal or grabbing takeout. The atmosphere feels comfortable and authentic without being over the top — just a solid, enjoyable place to sit down and enjoy a quality meal.

In-freaking-credible Thai food. I had so much fun. Everything was super flavorful. Next time I will definitely do level 5 spiciness, the ambiance is divine and wow yeah, will definitely be back to try more things. We had the steak, dumplings, green curry. I mean the steak could have definitely been less chewy for my preference but whatever. Highly recommend otherwise!!!

The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting! We went with a large group of 6, and the overall experience was great with friendly staff. Food presentation was nice, but the taste was okay. The group’s overall perception was that the food was saltier than usual. The place got crowded very quickly, we went without making a reservation, so it may not be a bad idea to make one if you’re going on weekends or holidays.

This restaurant is a MUST GO! The interior of the restaurant was absolutely stunning, it looked so clean and gorgeous with nice decor. All of the staff was super kind, everyone greeted us when we got there and said goodbye when we left, and our server was very nice and helpful in choosing menu options. The food was obviously the best part though, my friend and I shared the spring rolls which are a must, then I got the Virgin pina colada and my friend got the lychee drink which were both equally delicious I recommend both (no alcohol is served here btw, mock tails only). For the mains I got the pad see ew which was AMAZING, if this is your first time coming I definitely recommend getting that with chicken, as I have came here once before and got the regular Pad Thai with chicken but the pad see ew was much better in my opinion (and not spicy at all). My friend got the green curry which was also very delicious and I would recommend that dish if you like things on the spicier side because it was very spicy. Then for dessert we shared the lava cake which was good, it is a very small portion though so if you have a lot of room for dessert I recommend getting your own lava cake as opposed to sharing. I also appreciate how the staff did not rush us at all, we did not feel pressured to leave or that they were trying to kick us out. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive from bergen county and I will be coming back.

Pattra Thai lives up to its great reputation with a beautiful ambience and consistently good food. We really enjoyed the spring rolls, and the curries were flavorful and satisfying. It’s BYOB, which is a nice bonus. The Thai salad was decent, though we were hoping it would come tossed with peanut sauce rather than on the side. Overall, a solid spot and definitely worth a visit.

10/10 experience! The restaurant itself is STUNNING as soon as you walk in. They were able to seat our large group of 12 with no problem, and the service was fast, attentive, and super friendly! The food was the real standout though, I got the Pad Kee Mao with tofu for my entree and it was easily the best I’ve had at any Thai restaurant! Will be coming back 🙂

This place is always such a great time! I’ve had their drunken noodles with shrimp along with an iced Thai tea, and every bite just makes you want more and more. They load it up with the perfect amount of veggies—mushrooms, green beans, onions, and green peppers. Everything is so flavorful and satisfying. I absolutely love this place!!

I told my friends that I missed Thai food and they brought me to Phattra Thai Restaurant in Metuchen and it was absolutely a great recommendation. I had my favourite Pad Thai and it was delicious, as authentic it can be. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Indeed a 5 star dining experience. The restaurant interior made me feel that I was in Thailand. I would love to go back on mango season to have my mango sticky rice which was not available during our visit. Of course, I had a glass of Thai Iced Tea.
