I have hit every Thai establishment in southeast Detroit and this is my go to atleast once a week. The food is always second to none. If I had to rank my top three meals, their Udon noodles, Curry Noodles, and Drunken noodles. My wife would argue Green Curry needs to be up there. Great food and ran by a great family!

I have gone here four times and thought maybe at one point my orders will be to my SPICE liking . Their mild here is VERY hot . I have had mild and no spice at several Thai establishments and never an issue . For some reason this place thinks NO spice means HOT and mild means HOT too!! It is basically ALL dishes are HOT spice. I give up and I don’t like to bash places but I paid good money for several meals at once and expressed to the lady at the hostess stand the dislike. She said she would correct it and still our food was way too spicy. We have no desire to ever come back. “Lana Thai” doesn’t do this. They’re all about pleasing the customers That’s our spot from now on.

I’m very picky on my Thai food, we like to try new spots all the time. We recently moved to the area and just got take out today. I had the egg noodle dish with chicken and my husband had the drunken noodles with chicken and everything was great! I’m weird about chicken at Thai and Chinese spots but the chicken here was very good , the vegetables weren’t over cooked and tastes fresh! I’m very happy to have found a place this good so close to our house.

Very enjoyable meal. I enjoyed the Mango Melody special that was listed on the board (see attached photo.) My guests enjoyed the Pineapple Fried Rice, Lettuce Wraps, and the Orange Melody special. We all give Pha’s Pepper Thai two thumbs ! Note that there is a 4% fee for the use of a credit card. I have attached a copy of the bill to reference prices for the items we ordered.

My partner and I enjoyed the meals we were served. The Pineapple Fried Rice was especially tasty. My only complaint is that the TV playing “Reba” was a little loud and distracting, especially to an individual with ADHD. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time at the establishment!

December 2021 – wife found out about this great place. We had it for dinner, but our 3 daughters under 10 decided they loved the chicken satay. Next time we will order more. My daughters thought the satay was spicy. However, they would drink water and wanted more. The lettuce wrap was good. The peanut sauce was different but good. Wife loved her Thai food. My wife ordered me chicken, rice with pineapple. Very good! Chicken was juicy and not dry. Overall the family gave it 2 thumbs up, and we will be back. Thank you for feeding us tonight!

I may have committed 2 of the cardinal sins when ordering takeout: first I asked if I had the right number for a competitor’s location (oops), second I asked for a change to their menu item.
Long time fan of curry noodles and I placed my first order with Pha’s Pepper for the classic dish, but requested heavy sauce. I like coconut curry so much that I request it heavy like a soup and usually on fire.
I instead received the opposite and perhaps a challenge to make the noodles as dry as possible. I think the lemon squeeze generated more overall liquid than the curry sauce.
The flavor seemed to be tasty for what little I had, but I’m not sure I’ll be returning for any take out orders.
Ok, maybe 3 sins by ordering a half hour before closing. I’m sorry!
