Pharmacy Bar & Parlor was named in homage of the hotel’s original pharmacy, which served as a community water cooler, and was a place where Big Spring locals met to talk about weather, drops, politics or the topic of the day. It’s still like that today. There are two distinct spaces: the vibrant bar area is a great place for meeting friends and listening to live music, while the more relaxed parlous has a distinct living room feel. Either way, you’ll get classic cocktails, and extensive beer and wine offerings, in a place that always feels welcoming.

The bar in the Hotel Settles is quite nice. The main grill was closed during my Sunday evening stay, but the bar had a small menu available. The chicken fried steak was amazing! The cocktails were quite tasty and refreshing and the atmosphere was super laid back. It’s a great place to relax in a refined setting.

Attractive bar located on the Runnels side of the Settles Hotel lobby. Service was a bit amateurish, but polite and enthusiastic. Spirit selection was small but well curated. Cocktails were well crafted. Beer selection was embarrassing. Dive bar level tragic. Pulled pork green chili grilled cheese with fries was absolutely fantastic.

My wife and I shared the Caesar salad, the ribeye, the truffle fries and a bottle of wine. This is Texas and the portions were more than enough to satisfy our appetites despite splitting. Everything exceeded our expectations and the ribeye was beyond spectacular. Highly recommend!!

Service was marginal with one waitress being clueless and the other being pre-occupied. The food was not good. $38 for a grisly sirloin steak frites that had so much chimichurri you couldn’t taste anything else. Rather overpriced in my opinion. At least they had draft IPA. I wouldn’t come back if I lived around here.

Casual, can be quite and cozy or a place where friends get together and laugh, have fun. I can’t say enough about the bartenders and waitstaff, friendly , courteous and very proffesional. Great piped in music from the past, not loud but very nice to hear without interfering with conversation. Truly a great place to enjoy with those with you or to meet interesting people.

I think prices could be better but this is the only bar in big spring that makes drinks as good as a city bar. The staff is great and the atmosphere feels so out of place for big spring but in a nice and welcomed way. Food is great as well!

It’s a nice place to go eat & have drinks, but the service can definitely be alot better. They definitely over pour on their drinks, so just gotta be careful there. Hopefully they can hire more staff & have better service.
