My husband and I decided to go to Katy Asian town for dinner. We decided to try Phanh KY Asian Noodle House. We were greeted by Kim as soon as we walked in. She let us look over the menu and made recommendations as she took our drink order. We both ordered the (Large) rice noodle bowl with broth minus the pork liver and an order of egg rolls. The egg rolls were delicious and homemade no doubt. I didn’t get a picture because we ate them right away. The bowls came out piping hot and fragrant. They were HUGE! The broth was perfect and the ingredients were so fresh and tasty. It was like a flavor bomb with each spoonful. Just think of an extra-loaded pho! Needless to say we had leftovers and we will definitely be back. The service, prices, and food are a 10/10!

Food is delicious and the owner is very friendly! The short rib rice is amazing and the meat is juicy! Nice restaurant for a family/friend setting. I highly recommend it!

The servers were very attentive as we walked in—greeted us with a smile and genuine enthusiasm, which was a great start. We ordered the A7 Rice Noodle (Kid Size) bowls for my wife and me to sample, and also grabbed an A1 Spring Roll to-go for the kids.
The baby noodle bowls came out freshly made, which we appreciated. However, they were missing the meat and shrimp shown in the menu photo. Honestly, the owner might want to nickname this dish the “Vegan Baby Noodle” .
As for the Spring Rolls, we received only two instead of the three pictured on the menu. Yes, the fine print does say “two rolls per order,” but let’s be real—most food lovers go off the visuals. If you don’t catch the fine print, the presentation can definitely feel misleading.
Bottom line: Service was great, food tasted fresh, but the visual-to-reality gap in the menu could leave food enthusiasts scratching their heads. We have a problem, folks .

This was our first visit and it was worth the drive. Started with the shrimp spring rolls. It was very refreshing and the shrimp were huge. I had the clear noodles and pork with broth. The medium size bowl was more than enough. Very filling. My husband had the grilled short ribs and rice. He said it was very flavorful.

I really enjoy the dry soft noodles at Phanh Ky Asian Noodle House. The delicious sauce combined with crispy dried shrimp, along with a variety of rich toppings like pork, shrimp, and liver, makes for a delightful meal. Additionally, the side bowl of soup enhances the overall taste. The restaurant also offers noodle soup.

The hu tieu noodles here are fantastic. This noodle dish can be ordered dry (it comes with a small bowl of broth on the side) or with the noodles in the broth (pork bone base). I prefer the noodle soup version as the broth itself is so delicious. In the bowl, you’ll find all sorts of goodness – pork cracklings, ground pork, fried shallots, dried shrimp, green onions, cilantro, pork livers, sliced pork, pork ribs, and shrimp. The veggie garnish consists of lettuce leaves, bean sprouts, serrano peppers, and lime wedges.
We also had fried Chinese bread to accompany the noodles. The bread tasted good, but the texture felt a bit thin and lacked the chewiness I preferred. Anyhow, it was still good.
If you’re looking for something other than Vietnamese pho, this place is a must-try.

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Phanh Ky Asian Noodle House in the vibrant heart of Katy Asian Town, and let me tell you, it was a meal that left me craving more. From the moment I stepped in, the warm, bustling atmosphere set the stage for what turned out to be a truly unforgettable culinary adventure. I opted for their Seafood Rice Noodle and Egg Noodle Combo, and it was nothing short of a flavor explosion that swept me off my feet.
The dish arrived steaming hot, a generous tangle of silky rice noodles and springy egg noodles swimming in a fragrant, savory broth that had been simmering for hours—24, to be exact, as their menu proudly boasts. Each spoonful was a treasure trove of plump shrimp, tender squid, and delicate fish slices, all perfectly cooked and bursting with the briny sweetness of the sea. The broth itself was a masterpiece—rich, aromatic, and layered with natural spices that danced on my palate, balanced by the subtle crunch of fresh bean sprouts and a sprinkle of herbs that added a bright, zesty kick. The combo of textures—chewy noodles, succulent seafood, and crisp veggies—was pure perfection in every bite.
But the real showstopper? The egg rolls. Oh, those egg rolls! Golden, crispy, and shattering with every bite, they were stuffed to the brim with a savory filling—think seasoned pork, crunchy veggies, and just the right hint of spice. Dipped in their tangy, fish sauce-laced nuoc cham, they were an addictive delight that I couldn’t get enough of. Each bite was a symphony of crunch and flavor, making them the ideal companion to my noodle feast.
The service was quick and friendly, and the cozy vibe of Phanh Ky made it feel like a little slice of Southeast Asia right in Katy. The portions were hearty, the ingredients fresh, and the love poured into every dish was unmistakable. My seafood noodle combo and those irresistible egg rolls turned a simple meal into a mouthwatering experience I’ll be dreaming about until my next visit. If you’re in Katy Asian Town, Phanh Ky Asian Noodle House is a must-stop for a soul-warming, flavor-packed treat!

I would come here every day One of my top Vietnamese dishes (that’s not made by my grandma). Nothing beats a comforting bowl of noodles. I personally like the thick egg noodles, both the soup and the dry version!

Phanh Ky at this location is slightly smaller but cleaner. I prefer this location to the one at Chinatown because the staff here are better in communicating. Staff were friendly and service was fast.
I had A1 Chinese fried breadstick for starter, and my main was S4 Dry Clear Rice Noodle and Thick Egg Noodle. The fried breadstick was crispy, and when paired with condensed milk, it was yummy. My dry noodles came with a bowl of broth and a spare rib in it. The broth was flavorful. The noodles were tasteless. The sauce was savory but slightly too salty. When mixed well, the bland noodles, and bland ingredients like the sliced pork and pork liver tasted flavorful.
The appetizer and noodle portions were small. For most people, one bowl of noodles wouldn’t be enough. I would visit again when I have craving for the sauce since it was the sauce that made the difference in the bowl of noodles.

I love coming here because they open at 10am meanwhile other places open later around 11am. Opening an hour earlier really does make a difference especially when I need to leave town early in the morning. I grab a quick bite from here and can be on the road by or even before lunch traffic hits. Every time I come here I order the broth hu tieu and depending on my mood, I eat whatever type of noodles. Normally I order the combo of clear rice and egg noodles. Some days I rather the thin egg noodles over the thick or vice versa. I like them all. The broth is always fresh and tastes flavorful. They are also generous with their protein, but their veggies have not been great. The bean sprouts were not fresh and had a slimy layer on them. However I love their pickled peppers they keep at the table with the other condiments. It’s so spicy and adds just the right amount of kick in the broth. I like to eat them after a few bites because it really does make a difference. Overall, this is a good spot for hu tieu! Fast, reasonably priced, and good service!
