This restaurant was so cute! But TERRIBLE customer service. We came in with a party of 6 adults, 2 toddlers (2) and 2 infants. Half of us got there first and they had to put two tables together. The waitress was trying to put the tables together near the rest room and the lady who owns the place came out yelling at her in front of everyone saying she was stupid to put us near the restrooms and to put us over here in a different area. We were like um that was rude but okay. Next we ordered chicken fingers for the two toddlers and the waitress came back to tell us the lady who owns the place said chicken tenders are only for the kids so we couldn’t order them. So we told them yes that’s who we were ordering them for, the two toddlers! Then she comes back to tell us we couldn’t order anything until everyone arrives. Everyone arrived. We went to order different things each and they tell us if one person at the table orders all you can eat crabs everyone has to order it or order the same thing. So we don’t try to share. Which we weren’t going to do?! So it was so complicated and they were so rude to us we ended up getting the kids tenders and hush puppies we ordered to go. The hush puppies were really good. Kids chicken tenders were just frozen nothing special. But worst customer service I have ever experienced and we all have been servers before in the group and we’re going to spend a lot and tip a lot. Also on the menu it states no separate checks and no refills on drinks. 0/10 do not recommend.

Had the seafood combo and the crab legs, clams and peel and eat shrimp were so good. My mom got the ribs and they were also great and fall off the bone. We also love their fried chicken and rice pudding. We will be back next vacation to OCMD. Service was very sweet and nice

We went in March for a mini celebration when most of OC was still closed for the season, and PGN fortunately came through with the best blue crabs! We bought from them 3x during our stay, and best part was they even had females which I prefer over males! Their steamed shrimp and fried fish were also great. Delicious fresh meaty crabs and pleasant accommodating staff, PGN is a no brainer in Ocean City! Thank you!

I’d give this place about 3.5 stars out of 5. The service was pretty good, the staff were kind, and the food came out in a timely manner. However the crab legs were kind of pricey. We found them to be a little overdone, bland, and they were kind of cold when they came out. The atmosphere was very cute. It is kind of old timey, which I can absolutely appreciate.

Just an overall great dining experience. The all you can eat crabs and fried chicken is the best in Ocean City. My husband and I ate there 3 days in a row. A really family style atmosphere with great wait staff.

If you’re looking for unlimited blue crab and fried chicken, you should try this place! We had a wonderful time—the fried chicken was juicy, light crispy, and delicious. They are generous with their blue crabs, corn, and fries. The crabs is tastes sweet and fresh when we got our. It’s our favorite spot, and we plan to visit again!
I love this kind of small owner and local restaurant.

I returned to Ocean City 30 years after my last visit looking for authentic Maryland style crabs. I searched and searched and my wife found PGN and thank God she did. PGN is more reasonable crab prices on All you can eat on the beach. It was very very good. All you can eat before 5pm was 39.95 which is a great price for OC. Each tray has about 12-15 crabs. Crabs were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Now let’s speak to the quality of the crabs. I used to be a commercial fisherman so I’m pretty particular about the crabs, if they’re hard enough, if they’re rusty etc. FYI white bellies are immature crabs you can put your finger through their belly. (Not much meat) Now going to an all you can eat, I was very worried that I was gonna be eating strictly white bellies or poor crabs. Not the case at PGN!!!
First tray had maybe two white bellies. Second tray had maybe 4
3rd tray none
4th tray none
I was shocked at the high-quality crabs that came out on each tray. The last two trays the crabs were so hard and full of meat….I could damn near Couldn’t get the meat out. The crabs were so hard which is a good thing! I am very happy with the quality of the crabs.
The hush puppies were excellent. The beer was cold and reasonably priced.
Atmosphere was that the old timing seafood joint. I loved it as it reminded me of the old days. The staff was kind and friendly and was very attentive. They keep you with plenty of paper towels. Bathrooms are very clean.
Things to be careful with
1. Soda is per glass glass prices. So if you take your kids, you can quickly spend a bunch of money. There is an option to buy a pitcher of soda which may work out better, depending on how many kids you got
2. If you go early like I did at 2 PM you get three hours to eat your crabs before dinner prices start. The All you can eat price increases at 5 PM so if you were trying to save a dollar you need to go early.
3. Come on an empty stomach because they’re gonna give you a bunch of food
I am a very particular person about my crabs, and I would not think twice of sending anybody to PGN crab House. I promise you you will get quality crabs at a reasonable price and you will be very happy. My family of 5 ate for left than $200. 3 of us got all you can eat, the kids got kids meals.
