First time visiting during a Halloween bar crawl and oh my goodness SO GLAD they were included! The entire idea is awesome & the atmosphere & effort set to make this a fun place for your wagged friend is impeccable! The outdoor area is huge & changes slightly with the seasons/holidays. If you love dogs, friendly animal lovers & good company, this is the place for you to bring your buddy! Staff was very attentive to the safety of the dogs as well. Regardless of if you bring one or not, there’s a process for enter/exit to assure no dogs run out the door. It’s all off- leash once inside so the dogs can run around & Nigel freely with their buddies! We even had some come take pictures with us (there’s a birthday girl in there in the party hat)

Went for the first time tonight for the CF National Championship. Was recommended there by several people since Facebook said they were open late for it. By half time they called last call. Didn’t even make it through the third quarter, staff was putting up chairs and everyone vacated. Staff was happy to see us leave since we were the only ones left. Went to Railyard to watch the end of the game. Staff were friendly, being surrounded by dogs was awesome. You can bring your own food which is a plus. Definitely not a sports bar. More of a local dog bar. Which is so cool! Wasn’t sure what to expect when we decided on here, but a cool experience overall. A 5can bucket of 16oz domestic beer is $26.

They don’t serve food there, but you can have it dropped off. Or bring your own. This was the coolest concept I’ve ever seen to have dogs play!! This beat a dog park any day!! My pup had the best day ever!!! we will definitely be back!

People let me tell ya ’bout my best friend. She’s a one dog cuddly toy, my up, my down, my pride&joy. And the PG&J Dog Bar is full of humans who understand me. We cuddled and head kissed many pups. Talked to people who feel the same.

This bar/dog park is clean, friendly, and caring for humans and their owners.

Good service, the people who watch over our pups here, are amazing! Shout out to Ashley! Lovely assortment of beers. Food truck out front, but I’ve never tried it, looks good.

Now I’ll shout out to all the pups we met. The dalmatian, the Great Danes, the Greyhounds, the Afghan, the Doodle, and all those in-between. Ripley and Jiggles. The male Chihuahua who kissed and played with my rat terrier. They were the smallest 2 there.

There are good common sense rules here. Please pick up after your fur babies.

I highly recommend a visit to see if this is a place for you. Be prepared for dog talk and petting and lovely dogs to feed your soul.

This place is amazing. We were in KY for work and all missing our own pups, and this place scratched the itch. PG&J is a really nice place even without the dogs. The owner greeted us as we arrived. Atmosphere is awersome. Planning to visit again next time were in town.

Can’t recommend this place enough! The staff is unbelievably nice and attentive. The other dog owners were super friendly. The bar has a large variety of options all of which are affordable! There was also a great non alcoholic selection to choose from. We can’t wait to come back!

One of my favorite places to go to in Louisville. The atmosphere is so friendly, the place is kept pristine, and the bartenders and grounds moderators are all about the dogs having a friendly and safe environment for the people and dogs alike. Love the bartenders, and the dog park itself is so open and offers variety in seating options for the humans, and free tennis balls and a water sprinkler pool for the dogs to enjoy. The drink prices are 2-3 dollars higher than average, but I happily purchase at least two drinks when I go, because there’s no entry fee, and the extra in the price of drinks goes towards the expenses of running the dog park. Also, having your own dog is not required to gain entry. But please follow the guidelines at the entrance and exit.

We love PG&J’s. It’s such a huge space. Parking is easy! Employees are nice. Drinks are good. They have games available you can play. Some people work from home… some just hang out! There are plenty of tables and lawn chairs and couches and picnic tables! Coming from Chicago and Indianapolis where there are so many dog parks… Louisville doesn’t have as many so, this is great for Louisville!
