Mom and pop bakery that has a good selection of baked goods to help calm that sweet tooth cravings as you travel down route 66. With a steady stream of patrons, this was definitely a happening place.
Some notable items are the huge cinnamon roles, with or without frosting. Along with danishes, scones, turnovers, and cookies, I dont think you could go wrong with any choice. Staff was friendly and attentive to all the customers who came in.

An absolute must!!!! The pastry selection is nice and the quality is exceptional!!! It is a place we will stop most of our Route 66 tours. Sorry no pictures.

You know I like the donuts and danish but when they are half the size a twice as much is ridiculous. I know everything is costing more but almost 3.00 a Danish is crazy. Sorry I can go to Steve’s in Streator and get a dozen for 13.00 and the are filled too. I am just saying it is a same. Good bakery going down hill.

I came in for the first time and saw the many options ranging from danishes, donuts, to cookies.
I picked up this Almond Butter Pastry. Not too sweet. There are tons of almonds and flavor. The pastry dough was fluffy and moist. The icing on top was creamy and light. A great balance! It’s worth another try.

Love to gets donuts here, but the last visit was not good. Employees are not friendly and did not wear gloves when handling the donuts. Unacceptable!

You can never go wrong with a Pfaff’s donut or cake! I have been getting pastries, donuts, cookies, and cakes from this bakery since I was very young, and they have never disappointed me. I am particularly fond of the chocolate zits (a miniature chocolate long-John filled with a dense whipped cream) and their almond crescents.
