The molcajete (hot stone bowl) came with grilled chicken, shrimp, crab legs, octopus, and a good variety of roasted veggies like baby onions, spicy peppers, and cactus. It was a fun and hearty dish, though a bit on the salty side for me.
The chips and salsa were a highlight — super fresh and flavorful! Also loved the small side of beans that came with the dish. Great spot for a filling, slightly over-the-top Mexican feast.

We both loved discovering this “hidden gem” Mexican restaurant in Windsor. It is located in the Windsor Palms Plaza and is authentically decorated. The ambiance is welcoming and it has a series of long community tables.
There were so many amazing options to choose from on their menu so I had a difficult time deciding! I ordered the fish tacos and absolutely loved them! The portions are generous and the food is absolutely amazing! It is very flavorful and came with fresh chips and salsa. The service was great and we really absolutely loved our meal!
This is a family run restaurant so I love that you know you are supporting the local community when you eat here. I also love that they have wine from a local winery that you can purchase with your meal. I personally love seeing family run businesses supporting other family owned businesses! This place has beer, wine, and other drinks that you can order with your meal. Everyone that worked here was very friendly and we will definitely be back to try out other things on their menu.

We stopped here for lunch while on a road trip north from southern California. The mole was smoky and tender, just perfect. I had the piña rellena— wow it was good, and a big portion but so tasty I ate all of it. Colorful atmosphere, fresh ingredients and delicious food.

What a gorgeous restaurant inside, and excellent service! The food was so delicious, fresh, and unique. The chicken mole and rice was so good, and my companion had what looked like a bowl of soup that had beans, beef, bacon, peppers, etc and she is still raving about it. I highly recommend trying it! I hear they have a good Sunday brunch too.

Incredible! Absolutely amazing food. Everything was delicious! Truly the one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Life changing. Every dish had so much flavor and complexity while still being so well balanced. After talking with the server she informed us that it’s her family who owns and operates the restaurant and that everything is homemade from fresh, local, and quality ingredients. It’s a difference that you can really taste in the food. I’m in total awe of this place. This restaurant needs awards for the kind of food they’re putting out. Seriously.
Along with the food, the inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated, with such a pleasant ambience. Service was such a delight, and the family cooking in the kitchen was all smiles and happy to see us enjoying the food. I can’t say enough great things about this place. It was perfect from start to finish. Love this restaurant and can’t wait to come back!

Well dang. Really good food. My wife got the deep fried fish w Diablo sauce (or something). It was fantastic. The fish wasn’t overly fried like other places. Sauce was great. I went with shrimp soup. It was loaded w giant shrimp. Peel and eat, so prepare to get dirty. I actually had to leave a few shrimp uneaten, which my wife took care of. The soup broth was unctuous and perfectly seasoned. It all came hot. Perfect. The meal was so enjoyable we told the kind waitress , “see you on Sunday”. Sunday brunch. All you can eat. The meat Colorado was so delicious, I went to the grocery store (on the way home) to try to reverse-engineer it at home. (I got very close!). Best buffet chili rellenos I’ve ever tasted, and I avoid them due to my own self imposed dietary restrictions. It took Herculean efforts to eat to 70% and stop. I started w fresh fruits and cucumbers to minimize the feeding frenzy. The place was hopping! Happy diners all over. The tamales looked like a crowd fav, but we didn’t try any.
