More than adequate.
Chicken Parm and Linguini/Clam Sauce with my 34 y.o. son were more than we could comfortably finish.
Pasta was cooked to perfection (not always the case elsewhere) as was everything else.
Salad ingredients were fresh.
For my taste, more garlic would be appreciated.
Unfortunately, Dine In is not available.

We ordered the bacon flatbread, spaghetti and mushrooms with red sauce and the Parmesan risotto. Everything was fresh, packaged perfectly, and really good. The best part was the owner, Pierre, personally delivered our take out to our car and chatted as if he knew me for 30 years. What a gentleman and what a great dinner. We will return!

I wish I had photos of the food. We had such a great time, it didn’t even cross my mind! After a 9 hour road trip and a half mile long walk through town, we found the restaurant just off Main St. We visited for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was gorgeous inside. The establishment is cozy, and the food is delicious. We were running an hour behind and were greeted with warm welcome and amazing service. We would definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in Carbondale.

The staff couldn’t be nicer but unfortunately the family style chicken parm was not very good ): It’s chicken tenders with sauce and cheese on top. I expected homemade from an Italian place.

My family and I dined here after my grandfathers wake. They were kind enough to stay open late for us. We had a group of 17 people and all of our food came out at the same time. The food was amazing and the gentleman taking care of me paired my wine to my dinner wonderfully. Amazing food, wonderful service, most definitely would go back.

We had dinner here tonight and it was the best meal I’ve had locally in years. I’m embarrassed to say it was my first time but Pettinato’s will now be a regular stop. Service, food, atmosphere.. all A++++. Red sauce amazing, veal, delicious. Prices, great! Try it out, you won’t regret your choice.

Every single time I have ever ordered food from here I have never been let down. Everything is just so delicious. Everyone is super friendly. It’s just a great place. Perfect spot for a first date, anniversary, or anything special. I’ve been going here for the passed 15 years and don’t ever plan to stop. I will forever love this restaurant. Thanks for everything!!

We weren’t sure that the restaurant was even open because it looked so dark from the outside, but inside it had a warm atmosphere and the room was packed. They were very willing to accommodate us on a busy night. The service was slow because they had a very small staff, but I appreciated how kind and friendly they were. The food was also excellent and worth the wait. If you’re in a rush, it may be better to go elsewhere. If you’ve got the time, make a reservation, chat with the owner, and enjoy a lovely meal.
