Came at 5pm at night for some coffee and the lady behind the counter convinced me to try their matcha with cinnamon it was so good! Likely one of the best matchas I have had! Had the almond croissant- heated, it was amazing!
She also gave me a taste of their Chai with oat milk (which I usually dont like) and it was delicious . Plenty of outside seating.
Parking was difficult at that time but otherwise great place!

Great service, great view on the back patio of the open marshland, which sets it apart from all the other cafes on the main drag in Playa Del Rey which all pretty much look out at traffic on the main road.
It’s great that it’s set back. I had the Greek omelette from the food truck out back, which is fantastic and much better and cleaner/healthier than any other omelette I’ve had in the neighborhood. Side salad was great and light — perfect amount of dressing. And I loved the iced latte. At $7 for the iced latte it’s a bit steep but it’s about the same as the cost anywhere else near here.

Wish this place was more popular everyone here was so nice and and food (chicken pita & fries) / cafe (iced latte) was delicious. A little tough to park around here but worth the little walk. Great outdoor seating with a surprisingly nice view of the marsh – will definitely be coming back!

The food is beyond delicious. I had the filet mignon skewers with grilled vegetables and side of feta last week. Shrimp skewers the week before and tonight the Lamb Pasta. Come check it out if you haven’t been here. It is so nice to sit outside in such a beautiful space and enjoy delicious meals that exceeded my expectations.

Really cute local spot for coffee and Greek food. We just had a late breakfast (that was great) and the food truck smelled amazing… definitely going back for lunch/dinner. Friendly staff (thanks Bree!) Really nice spot to stop on the way to/from the beach + cool views of the wetlands. Worth a couple blocks detour if you’re biking the beach path .
Edit: we went back for a late lunch today… the food was fantastic (thanks Roberto)! We really enjoyed the meal. Great menu. We had the filet mignon skewers, chicken pita, chicken tacos, and prawns. Definitely would recommend all of them as everything was cooked perfectly… meats were super tender and seasoned well. Veggies + sides were awesome. We’ll definitely be back, thx.

Parking was easy and right next to the cafe. It’s wonderfully charming, has great vibes. Inside is the cafe with coffee and ready to eat things like pastries, baklava, muffins, spanakopita. I got an iced chai latte (it’s deliciously spiced, creamy, and had a marvelous lil kick) and, per the kind worker’s suggestion, i got the tyropita (feta in a pastry, topped with honey, served with tzatziki). I devoured it! I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Petros Kafe is a gem! Authentic, delicious homemade Greek food with the freshest ingredients. The staff is so lovely, and the coffee (La Marzocco!) & Iced Matcha are top-notch. Their sunny, spacious patio is a delight. Highly recommend!

Petros Kafe is a hidden gem in Playa Del Rey! I absolutely love their kouroubiedes (butter almond cookies)—they’re so buttery and delicious, you won’t find better anywhere. All the drinks are fantastic, especially the chai, matcha, and coffee, which are always perfect. I’m Greek so I really appreciate that I can pick up authentic imported products like oregano, olive oil, and honey here. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the view in the back is a lovely bonus. Perfect spot for a relaxing drink and snack!

Petros Kafe offered me an amazing and authentic experience! The staff is very welcoming & kind hearted! Service was excellent and everything was prepared beautifully! With the ingredients being imported from Greece, the food was unforgettable and it truly felt like I was at the Greek islands! I would highly recommend to get a nice Freddo Espresso & Chicken Souvlaki!

So the flavors of the food was fine, but two chicken skewers and some veggies for $20 is a bit steep. Maybe if the plates came with rice automatically, I feel like that is pretty standard, especially for Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.
So overall for the portion and what you pay it’s only so so
