Of the top 20 dishes I’ve ever had in my life, two have come from this restaurant. My first time at Petros I had the shrimp pasta with feta. To this day, I have never been so impressed with a seafood or pasta dish as much as I was that night. The flavor of the sauce left such an impression that I felt compelled to write this review over a year later.
The Gyro on the lunch menu was well seasoned, and came with perfectly fresh vegetables and was everything a gyro should be.
The restaurant is also very beautiful and deserves a try.

I visit whenever I am in Santa Barbara. I have only been here during slower times and have had great service. The menu is Greek/Mediterranean with a modern look. The rack of lamb special is excellent. Definitely order any of the dips. The patio is covered and a nice atmosphere.

Excellent meal in an attractive courtyard setting with friendly staff. They start you out with a tasty complimentary Garlic Spread. The night we were there they offered a Fig Salad special that was so delicious, it could have been dessert. We had the Shrimp Saganaki entrée which was very good. We took a chance and were very happy we ate here.

I have not been there a while but my last experience has still stuck with me and i have been meaning to leave a review for a while. My girlfriend and i went to Petro’s after seeing the menu online and my girlfriend saw a great vegetarian dish she wanted to try. Unfortunately when we got there the dish was at a different location. Dimitri (who i believe is the owner) ended up making my girlfriend a dish completely off menu and she got to pick exactly what she wanted in it as well. I ended up getting a lamb burger which was delicious as well. The area is also beautiful, we sat next to a small lemon tree and a water fountain. I have moved out of the area but i will be making a trip back there soon!

The food was fantastic , Demetrius or waiter was awesome, It was a slow night so it was very quiet for us , we liked that part. The rack of lamb was incredible! great people! We have a new favorite restaurant!

It reminded me of my trip to Greece. The dip combo and calamari were freshly made and absolutely delicious. The dips came with plenty of toasted pita bread, which makes it easy to share with the entire table. Don’t forget to order bougatsa for dessert. It is hard to find anywhere else!

Amazing food! And amazing service! The appetizers are my favorite. The atmosphere in the courtyard is also amazing and the atmosphere inside is very good. I don’t have any critiques.

Excellent! We have dined at Petros many times and find a new “favorite” each time. The restaurant is beautiful, the tables generously spaced, the service perfectly attentive, and don’t miss the Greek yoghurt for dessert!
