Reviews
A bit far bulacan, but good Atmosphere, great view of the city and Mountains.
Food is average not so pricey, value for money, nothing special about the food i think but it is good for it’s price. Good Serving for sharing orders, many food and drink options.
Good for big pax or family.
Many parking.
If not mistaken there is a band at night.
Overall rating is good average and the view!
We ordered the following:
– 1 whole fried chicken
– Tofu sisig
– Calamares
– Fries
– Beef Karekare
What really stood out was the amazing view—it adds so much to the overall ambiance. Plus, free parking is a big bonus and makes the visit hassle-free.
A great spot to relax, enjoy good desserts, and take in a beautiful view. Highly recommended!
Seating: We waited more than 10 minutes to be seated, despite available tables when we arrived. Malangaw.
Service: It took another long stretch before a waiter even approached us to take our orders.
Food Wait Time: Our meals arrived after 30–45 minutes. For a restaurant that wasn’t busy, that’s unreasonably slow.
Food / Drinks Quality:
Fried Chicken – The highlight of our meal. Crispy, flavorful, and truly delicious.
Sisig – Unfortunately, this was disappointing. The pork felt more like Menudo than proper sisig, with large 1cm onion chunks that overwhelmed the dish. The excessive mayonnaise further masked the flavor, making it feel rushed and uninspired.
Pancit Canton – Just fair; nothing stood out.
Spanish Latte – Lacked the expected sweetness and richness of a Spanish latte.
Caramel Latte – Fair, but not memorable.
Iced Coffee – Fair, nothing special.
Billing: Getting the bill was another ordeal, taking 30 minutes. The wait staff seemed to have mastered the art of ignoring customers. I had to pick up the bill by myself. I would also like to note that I was using a Japan-issued Visa Card to pay for our bill. However, the crew immediately processed the payment in PHP instead of JPY. I always prefer to be charged in JPY to avoid the dynamic currency conversion, which results in a higher exchange rate and unnecessary costs.
We asked why the service was so slow and disappointing. The crew’s response was dismissive, citing understaffing in a harsh tone, without offering even the slightest apology or acknowledgment of our concerns.
Verdict:
• Will I go back? No.
• Will I recommend it to friends? No.
This was, without exaggeration, the worst dining experience I’ve had
Price: 4/5
Atmosphere: 4.5/5
View: 4.3/5
Service: 4/5
Parking: 4.5/5
The place is very good tbh. The food is excellent, i highly recommend the dinakdakan its good. We ordered pecho and it was great as well, very good for its price and you can really taste the inasal. The fish and chips somewhat disappointed since the batter/fish was tough, not crunchy nor even warm. But overall, the food we tasted was great. The mango soda is great but it felt like mashadong konti? Since it only took few sips since its filled to brim with ice. Even though it was somewhat cold already due to the light rain.
The price is reasonable and all prices are properly checked for the amount of food and the taste that you get from the food that they have.
The atmosphere is very welcoming and its a place where you hear people talking but not annonyingly loud. You can enjoy the view without being disturbed.
The view obviously is one of the things you look forward going in here plus the food. The view is great but its not mahangin as you expect.
The service was great but since theres lots of table and the place is loud from ppl talking, if you are an introvert like me, you may find it hard to call a waiter, you may need to try few times before they see you.
Parking for Motorcycle is ple ty enough for 15 mc. And few cars to park. When i went there theres lots of spaces still. And its secured since there are bantay in the entrance.
Overall it was an enjoyable experience to eat and visit this place. Possibly may try to go here again.
Highly suggested for 150cc and above for easier commute for mc.
Wigo and similar small cars can definitely travel through the up and downs of the mountain.
But beware, its going to be dark at night since barely any light, suggested for morning breakfast or afternoon lunch.
Additional info: This place, do service charge. Theyre kid and pet friendly too.
The wide selection of food caters to different tastes, from hearty meals to light bites, all prepared with great flavor and care. What truly sets the place apart is the stunning overlooking view of the mountains, adding a refreshing and scenic touch to the dining experience. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special occasion, Petra’s Kitchen and Bar delivers both comfort and unforgettable view.
