Let me start with the obvious, this place is very GOOD. I heard it has been around for a whileee so I tried it with the lady and the Food Just HITT. We ordered an appetizer being the Mushroom Toppers and immediately we were hit with some beautiful flavor from the crab meat and the mushroom, it was easily the best appetizer I have had in a restaurant. I have included pictures with one of them being beautiful and the other one showing their fates.. so take a look (We even took some more home to mess up later). They gave us some nice complimentary bread with butter which we obviously messed up too so it was nice while we waited for what we ordered which for me was the New York Strip Steak with a Sprite and her Crawfish Pontchartrain pasta with an unsweet tea which we sweetened with some of the zero calorie sweeteners available and the tea was good luckily and I personally don’t like that kind of tea. After maybe waiting for only 10-15 minutes we got the food with my steak ordered medium rare and I got medium rare, that was goooddd especially with the garlic butter sauce so I messed that up and she messed up her pasta (at least what she could eat) with me destroying it later and taking the rest home as a man should do (pictures below). Yes, I agree they both looked so good, and they were and that was it, we ate, the waiters were very cool with any requests and in general and we left very satisfied with those generous portions with some relatively respectable prices I would say are worth it.

The Petra pasta is to die for. They load the plate down with so much crawfish, shrimp, crab and mushrooms it’s hard to believe they’re making any money from it. The bread pudding is immaculate. Absolutely perfect. The ladies always do a great job.

An excellent and quiet little place. I had the soup du jour, picture attached. It had finely diced tomato chunks, excellent flavor, and was well present. I did not rely on heavy cream to explode with flavor. It was quite salty, which I prefer, but some may find it too much.
I followed that with the Petra Pasta. It was full of seafood, to the point of nearly overpowering the cream sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the portion was very generous.
The waitress was polite, helpful, and kept a quiet distance. Just enough to be attentive without interrupting.
The surrounding shopping plaza is a little off putting, but this a definitely worth trying.

Great traditional supper club, aged but it adds to the charm. With a business that has been around for many many years, expect vintage decor and great food and service. I would return and bring guests!

1. It’s AMAZING to see this place still hangin’ in there!! 2. Today was my first time visiting here since maybe 2014/2015. I might be off with the year, but I know it’s been a long time. 3. The food is still really good!! I got the Petra Pasta with crab, crawfish, and shrimp. Next time, I’ll dine in because I love the atmosphere!!

if I go out to a nice restaurant with my beautiful wife I dont wanna see seafood that says IMPORTED on the menu on every selection ..we are in south Louisiana for christ sakes ..support our local seafood farmers..20 bucks for a meal from China is not my favorite place

Ordered the Veal Parm and the Petra Pasta
The veal was good and cheesy, the sause left a little to be desired was thin and runny didn’t coat the pasta well was runny on the plate,
The Petra Pasta had way more mushrooms then seafood seemed to have a bit of sundried tomatoes also cause was equally the same as the Veal sause I have eaten here many times and enjoyed it this time i was not as thrilled with the food but the service was on point.

Laid back local Italian based restaurant. Great food and service. Although last time there were 3 of us and 2 entrees came out… then 2 other tables who were there before us got their entrees … then I recieved mine 3 or 4 minutes later. Again, food was great but their timing with orders were off. The Veal piccata was freat!
