The warm welcome here was truly amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the traditional hand wash with rose water. It was a lovely touch. This was my first time here with my family, and we had a great time. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

I almost didn’t come here due to some of the reviews. I am so glad I decided to try it for myself. My Mom treated my family out for my birthday. The waiter was attentive, funny, personal and generous. Since it was our first time there, he brought over a special tea for us. Our food came out hot, big portions and since if was my birthday, he brought a special free dessert, homemade baklava! Everything was delicious and it did not cost anymore than any other restaurant, except the quality was so much higher. It was clean and had comfy seating. Would definitely recommend you try for yourself.

Whatever you do- get the lamb shank from Petra’s once if you life. It’s life changing. Also a side of their hummus. Also the ice tea. Ok basically everything.
We went here last week and are back a week later. It’s that good. The lamb falls off the bone- I’m not really a lamb guy but it was recommend. Now I am the biggest lamb fan out there. Seasoned to perfection, cooked by Jesus, and we’re back like we never left.
The service was incredible- inside you have the option of a traditional seating arrangement, or booth. Go traditional- it’s fun.
Will be back again and again. Cheers and thanks for such great food. The price by the way is totally worth it. Very large portions.

So glad that I found this place – delicious food, great vibe, and friendly staff! All the dishes I tried here are delectable:
The Lamb Shank was slow-braised to perfection! The meat was super succulent and fall-off-the-bone tender, requiring no effort at all to separate it from the bone.
I also recommend their Combo Kabab Plate, which comes with chicken, lamb, and kafta kababs. The kafta kabab is my favorite – it’s super flavorful and delivered a rich medley of spices.
Baba Ghanouj is another must-order item: I like its velvety texture and the rich, smoky, creamy flavor, which comes well with the pita bread on the side. This was my first time trying this dish, and I completely fell in love with it!
Meat Sambousak also worths a try. It’s a deep-fried flaky puff pastry stuffed with seasoned ground beef, onion, and green peppers. Definitely taste it along with the tzatziki yogurt, which can help reduce the greasiness of this appetizer.
Overall I had a wonderful experience here, and I’ll definitely come back again!
(Another thing I noticed: the bill doesn’t have any ‘suggested tip’ on it, allowing you to put down any amount without any pressure – another small thing that makes me love this place more )

Food and atmosphere brings me back to the days I traveled in Middle East. We enjoyed every minute at Petra restaurant, food, stuff – great! Will be coming back here when craving for some good Mediterranean food. It was so good I forgot to make pictures of food, I did snap a photo of desert.

We had such a great experience at Petra! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, and our server was incredibly friendly — it really added to the authentic Mediterranean feel. I had the shawarma, which was full of flavor, and my husband loved his gyro. The mint lemonade was refreshing. And the highlight? The Jordanian pancake dessert with ice cream — absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent food at a fair price for the quality. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. We ordered the Mezza for Two, Sambousaks, Musakhan, Lamb Kebab, and Katayef, along with a Mint Lemonade and Turkish Coffee; every dish was a standout. We can’t wait to work our way through the rest of the menu. In a sea of strip-mall chain restaurants, Petra House is well worth the visit.
