It’s a very esthetically pleasing restaurant! Moussaka was very delicious! We also ordered pita wrap with shrimp and it was so tasty. Lemon chicken soup was very nourishing and the lemon flavor was very light. Calamari were just right! So happy we stopped there! And the service was prompt and polite!

Spanakopita and pasta were great. Baba ganoush was good too but a bit overpowering for me.
Ambience was giving exotic Greek island vibes
My experience with the staff was a bit blatant, looked like they didn’t what they were doing. It was a lot of confusion among themselves while showing us to the table, taking order etc.

We finally made it! No regrets at all. We had tried to come several times before, but our schedules just never matched with the restaurant’s hours. Today, we were lucky enough to go. The service from Deb was amazing—she was very informative! I still can’t get the mussels out of my mind—oh my God, they were divine! The roasted lamb was a 1000/10, full of flavor and incredibly tender. I ordered the pastitsio, which I wasn’t a huge fan of, but that’s just personal preference—others might love it. My husband and I were completely stuffed, and we still had leftovers to take home from just two dishes! And since I always have room for dessert, I got the pecan baklava, which was absolutely delicious! Excellent restaurant! We will definitely be back and will be recommending it!

I decided to take a girl here for a first date. I normally don’t go to a place this nice for a first date, but I really wanted this one to be special. I always thought she was so cute back in high school, and 11 years later, I finally got to take her out on a first date.
I chose this restaurant because the food looked amazing and the atmosphere looked great—and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible; everything was unique and full of flavor. When the staff heard it was our first date and saw how excited we both were, they truly went above and beyond. They complimented us, saying we looked like a great couple, and did everything they could to help set up the perfect evening.
You could genuinely tell they cared about making our date special, and I couldn’t thank them enough. An amazing experience all around

Petos Authentic Greek Cuisine offers a variety of traditional Greek dishes in a casual and welcoming setting in Carmel, Indiana. The menu features familiar staples such as gyros, souvlaki, moussaka, and spanakopita, along with a selection of appetizers, salads, and desserts.

The food is generally well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and a focus on authentic flavors. Portions are reasonable, and the presentation is simple but appealing. Some dishes may stand out more than others depending on personal taste—for example, the gyro meat is seasoned well, while the moussaka offers a comforting, hearty option. The baklava is a common favorite among diners.

Service is friendly and attentive, though wait times can vary depending on how busy the restaurant is. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it suitable for both casual meals and small gatherings. Prices are in line with other local Greek or Mediterranean restaurants.

Overall, Petos is a solid option for those interested in trying Greek cuisine in the Carmel area. While individual experiences may vary, it provides a consistent and approachable introduction to classic Greek dishes.

The food was so flavorful we could hardly put our forks down. Service was entertaining and accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxed and charming.

Our food experience was quite well rounded as far as the menu goes, as we ordered quite a few options. Everything was of superior quality. Some highlights of the evening were the flaming cheese appetizer, table pita wedges, as well as the Petos Platter consisting of mouthwatering dips, beets, sliced veggies, and stuffed grape leaves Regarding the leaves, this is the first time I’ve had them and not found them to be too bitter. Our mains were generous in proportion, and perfectly seasoned. As for the desserts, I am still thinking of the baklava this afternoon, as well as the Sachertort cake. I feel as if would be doing a disservice to this restaurant if I didn’t add that it is obvious that the owners take great pride in the food and service that comes from this establishment. So much that she even came out from the kitchen to our table just make sure our meal was being enjoyed. She went above and beyond, making sure we took home our leftovers to be enjoyed the next day. Even providing heating tips and a cloth bag. Can’t wait to go back!

Really enjoyed our dinner! I got the cabbage and stuffed green pepper appetizer and the lamb stew. My friend got the moussaka and it was good. What made the food good was that the flavors of the seasonings blended beautifully. There is obviously a seasoned (ha) chef behind it all! Service was excellent and prices were fair. It was busy but we could still converse at a normal level. This is my new favorite restaurant!

First and foremost, they are absolutely incredible! The food is high quality, the menu is wide and everything looks delicious and tastes fabulous.
The service has been one of the best services, Dev was our server, and she is not only funny, but also super sweet and knowledgeable. I loved this place, and will definitely be coming back. We came from Ecuador and had never had this food before, but this is for sure good quality food.
