The atmosphere, food, and service were amazing! I loved the cozy museum vibes in the interior.

The complimentary bread, french onion soup, beef bourguignon, salmon with dijon bechamel, and flourless chocolate cake were all so delicious.

The service was also incredible, and it was evident that they had pride in the quality of the food.

I was with a group of 6 on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t as crowded. I had pasta/veggie dish and took my dessert (flourless chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry) to go. Topped it with white Zinfandel wine. I enjoyed the experience and will go back again!

We came for the Sunday Matinee of Murder Mystery combined with a full four course french meal.
We had a great experience, we enjoyed the show, especially the main actress Emily Merkle who was phenomenal. The meal was delicious, we had a selection of 5 entrees to choose from, and the service was excellent, friendly with good recommendations. Sitting on the bar and having a glass of wine before the show begins was very fun and highly recommended too.

A wonderful dining experience here, celebrating birthdays with friends. The onion soup was a big hit, but the Caesar salads were also tasty and included anchovies. I had the rainbow trout and it was one of best pieces of fish I’ve eaten. My wife enjoyed her steak frites. Service was impeccable and attentive. This is a great place for special occasions as well as date night.

– My girlfriend and I celebrated her birthday at this local French restaurant .

We started off with the Moules Marinieres, which had a great cream sauce reminiscent of a chowder.

My girlfriend ordered the Filet of Beef Wellington with sautéed asparagus and roasted fingerling potatoes.

My order was the Canard (pan seared duck breast) over a bed of puréed sweet potatoes, sautéed green beans and a glass of Pinot Noir.

Strongly recommend this establishment for any special occasions.

I was looking for a nice restaurant for our anniversary. I came across Petite Violette, which had good reviews and is a french restaurant, which I like.

We started with the lobster crepe with a salad. I thought it would be interesting, but it was nothing special. Nice presentation, but boring taste.

Then on to the main course. My wife had the rack of lamb, and i had the beef bourguignon. She did not like the taste of the rack of lamb. My beef bourguignon was good but not great. After the first several bites, I was done.

On a high note, the service was very good.

We were interested in coming back for the dinner theater with some friends, but after this dinner, we decided we couldn’t recommend it to friends.

There are much better french restaurants in Atlanta, I can not recommend Petite Violette unless you just want a mediocre meal.

The service was good we were seated right away. I had the sea bass, spinach with a sauce. The sauce was good but the sea bass was more chewy and you had to tug to separate. I usually have my sea bass at Atlanta Fish Market and it’s flakey and slips right off with your fork and much better. The bread pudding needed much to be desired. The atmosphere was nice. I expected more for the cost.

I recently dined at this upscale French restaurant, expecting an exceptional culinary experience, but unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. While the ambiance was elegant and inviting, an odd smell in the dining room detracted from the overall atmosphere.

I started with the classic French onion soup, which was decent but lacked anything special to set it apart. For the main course, I ordered the coq au vin, which, surprisingly, was made with chicken rather than the traditional braised rooster. The dish itself was underwhelming, lacking the depth of flavor that this French staple is known for.

Considering the high price point, I expected a more refined and memorable meal. While the setting was pleasant, the quality of the food did not justify the cost. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would hesitate to return.

Had an unfortunately disappointing dinner experience here. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was nice and they even had opera singers in the next room over which was great to have over dinner. Our service, however, was not great. Visited very infrequently by our waiter, never asked for a drink order, didn’t deliver our bread we requested until after we were eating entrées. I was really looking forward to some bread pudding dessert and some drinks after my meal but with how long the service took my party and I decided to pass since we wanted to get back to the hotel for the night. If you are eating with someone you haven’t seen in a while and want plenty of time to talk while you wait this is a good spot since the food is tasty, but don’t expect to get out faster than 2 hours.
