My mom & I had walked past this place our entire trip but never stopped but on our last day we decided to and it was so good! I got the Vanilla Honey Butter Latte & my mom got the Iced Apple cider & the cheddar scallion scone. The lady at the register, Maca was so nice & I loved talking with her!

A perfect rainy morning retreat just steps from Grand Central. This cafe offers a quiet charm amid the Midtown rush, wrapped in floral vines and a touch of French countryside fantasy.
I ordered a cappuccino and a pistachio chocolate croissant. The cappuccino was smooth, creamy, and balanced—served in their signature patterned cup that somehow makes the drink feel more personal. But the real star was the croissant: buttery, flaky, and topped with a generous layer of crushed pistachio. It’s not often you find such care in pastries in NYC cafés, where too often they’re outsourced or phoned in. These, however, felt like someone actually woke up early to make your morning a little better.
The setup is cozy, with enough bar seating to linger and watch the city pass by. The pastry display is impressive and curated, a strong indicator that this isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a bakery that takes pride in its craft. I’d love to come back and try their almond croissant or one of the savory options.
Highly recommended for travelers, commuters, or anyone who wants to slow down with something warm and well-made.

May be the worst “French bakery” I’ve tried all year. Charging artisanal bakery prices for Starbucks quality bakes. Private Equity really trying to turn this brand into the next Panera. The Kouign Amman was heavier than a hockey puck and filled with underbaked dough.
Truly atrocious, would never come back.

The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, with just the right balance of indulgent and wholesome. Their baked goods are especially standout—clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, which made the experience even better.

Loved the varieties here! It was my first time trying out this cafe. We got the pecan chocolate croissant roll, pumpkin pie croissant cube (seasonal), egg and spinach quiche, egg salad croissant sandwich. Absolutely delicious and freshly baked. The best quiche I ever had. Would love to try other items on the menu.

Wonderful pastries and I LOVE that they put calories on each tag. Whi knew that an almond croissant has twice more than a regular one?! Great matcha latte too (and speedy service on a busy morning!). There is a counter seating and a couple tables in the back

I love Petite Maman and the fact they have several locations in New York — that’s amazing! But this particular location felt a bit too small and typical for NYC: it’s quite cramped, which makes it a little uncomfortable if you’re visiting with kids. There’s only one table and a few high stools, so seating is limited. I got a latte with oat milk and a croissant — the croissant was super fresh, and the coffee was delicious! The chicken sandwich wasn’t bad either. Overall, I really enjoy their food and drinks, just wish this spot had a bit more space

Very close to grand central. Always busy & with a queue but very very limited seating. But 5 star for their strong cappuccino & delicious pastries. I had the Nutella beignet ❤️ & almond milk cappuccino. I do recommend & will return.

The food is delicious, the place is clean and i love the atmosphere, for a small space it feels bigger than it is. And everything is neat and in its own place. I love the service most of all, makes me feel like i am very welcome and not being a bother at all. Definitely appreciated and underrated in today’s time.
